Hey, why is Dr. Robotnik called Dr. Eggman in Sonic? I know this is what he was called in the Japanese games, but I kinda prefer the first name!

Also, what about the Starfox 64/Lylat Wars? Why did Nintendo change the name- in the rest of the world Starfox seemed okay!

Same with Princess Toadstool and King Koopa!

In the cartoons of Mario and the NES games they were called Princess Toadstool and King Koopa!

When it came to the SNES Koopa's name was changed to Bowser!

On the N64 it was changes to Princess Toadstool Peach and then just to Peach!

Also on Donkey Kong on the Gameboy (original) featuring Super Mario, the person he has to rescue is called Pauline! Don't tell Peach that loverboys having an affair!
