O.K so GTA3 is violent... so what??? Does anyone think that after playing this we go out and steal cars, join a gang, and kill cops? In reality these sort of games actually dis-encourage us to be criminals because instead of actually doing this in real life we can do it in a game, adrenaline but no danger. The Perfect Crime. By banning this game the Australians seem to be wanting their kids to go out and commit crimes, they have no other way to fulfill their male cravings. Banning games can only lead to bad things, so take my advice and DONT DO IT!!!

LOL! Considering that (apart from the Aborigines) they originated from here and were a bunch of theives, murderers and all round bad guys n gals, dont you think they are a BUNCH OF TARTS?!.
Yes it is violent, I wont dispute that, but something to remember is that it not REAL!

Yer theyve gotta either not have it or wait ages for it to be edited, so really its a bit unfair considering um oh, the REST OF THEWORLD can play it !!!

there films aren't cut. i got the alien trilogy box set imported from OZ (as it was a hell of a lot cheaper) and the only difference between are version and there's is the price and that it's region 4. and yep it's got the 15+ on it to :)

I wondered when someone was going to comment on this, it did make me lol! Did you read the story on SR site, something about the ratings level they've got down there.
The highest they could give it was a 15+ and the board didn't feel it was high enough.....I'd be furious if I was living over there!
Plus how many films that get released would you say are more violent than this game? They must have a real cr@p cinema and TV down there.
