Anyone know whats the best AV software i've used Norton and Macfee in the past and found them a bit rubbish at detecting trojans till after the infection.

I agree with Whooo Style. I've got Norton Antivirus 2002 and it's fantastic. And if you're worried about forgetting to update it, stick it on auto-update and it'll download the latest virus definitions as soon as they appear!

I use Norton and I like it. AFAIK, its one of the best. As long as you keep it up to date, you shouldnt have any problems.
