Have you ever wanted to be a bird?

No, not that sort of bird, Sniper... but a flying thing... I did... only so I could fly, mind, but I still wanted to.

I reckon real animal games would be good. Actually being put in a forest and given the chance to assume the role of a Badger, Finch, Mole, Rabbit of Fox... it might seem crap, but it could be quite fun...

I think it'd get quite a audience... maybe only on a PC format, but in general, I think it'd get quite a respose, especially from the older folks... Gran, Grandad, Meka... even our parents.

I suppose it'd depend on what genre it was... you could have an RTS where you have to provide homes and food for all the animals... you'd have to have certain size meadows, certain types of trees, and certain amounts of the different landscapes for all the animals to have a chance...

I don't really want this to lead into a game idea, so i'll look at something else...

Realism Vs Unrealism... if that's a word... Animal lovers might get a bit moody about the idea, saying it could 'give peple the idea to control nature'... well, yeah... it's called hunting! Don't like it?... chain yourself to a badger!

Seriously though... we've had space games forever... in-fact, Space Invaders was one of the first games around... even the original 'Pong' looked spacey!

I think it's time for animal games... Deer Hunter has the right idea... yep, killing animals was in the game, but loads of people like animals... I mean I swear my aunt's an animal, and my uncle likes her... and you have all the naturist gamers that wouldn't buy Sonic because they thought Sega actually spray-painted a hedgehog for 16-Bit motion caprute - they need games, too!

Well, maybe this was one of those wierd ideas, but if you think about it, everything else has been done... a realistic forest management game or a Nature reserve management game would be welcomed by quite a few people, I think!

But back to your topic....

Yeah that would be cool to be an animal. Say like.... a cheetah or something like that:)
Where you had to survive to win the game. Or the game could never and :o. You could hunt, and if you mucked it up then you would starve if you keep mucking it up, then could have to find a mate and all of the stuff that animals do.
Yeah I think your idea would be a cool one for a PS2 game, and I'll be looking out see if there is one.

Ecco The Dolphin is a beautiful looking game.
But don't be fooled by it's dreamy appearance - it's the hardest game I've ever played (and finished)!

I thik you might hve to catch food too, but I'm not sure.
This game first came out on the DreamCast I think (again).
But is coming out soon on the PS2 ;)

I might get, if it's any good.

I've always wanted to play a game which puts me in the position of a fox being chased by a pack of bloodthirsty hounds and their red-jacketed snobs.
The aim of the game would obviously be to survive and ultimately to escape.
If done well I think it would be truly scarey.
