"What's happened to Solid Snake! Raiden who?"

I'm a loyal Metal Gear solid fan and I've been playing it sionce it first came out, clocking it a numerical amount of times. I was hooked at the style of the game and how it brought out a completely new look to gaming as we knew it to be. From the moment i heard the name Solid Snake, i knew this character was going to be some hardnut that takes no bull from anyone. He was more Solid than the So Solid crew. He was a major reason for my playing this game over and over again. One day i open my computer magazine and find out they're reviewing MGS2. I was astounded by how far they've come and how it makes MGS1 look so mediocre compared. But i was i slight disaray when i read that my alltime favourite character in the world is no more. i played the MGS 2 demo to clearly see the main man's still there but apparently soon after Revolver Ocelot steals Metal Gear and blows up the ship with Solid on it. You take up this new character called raiden who's suppoesed to bwe exactly the same but a bit more athletic. in my opinion thisis all codswollop. i said before that Solid Snake was the reason i bought MGS1, and even though i'll still buy MGS2, i fell mighty disappointed at the facti wont be playing with the reason for Metal Gear Solid, Mr So Solid himself.

If anyone agrees with me, post a message and have your say. all you die hard MGS fans deserve the right. Any amaericans on japanese elaborate on the subject and tell us all if Solid Snake is really gone.

Well the only character i saw was someone with blonde hair and said that you could play as her.

Yes it is true, Revolver Ocelot blows up the ship with Snake on it so you take control of this person

Anyway i have just saw that there is a character called Solidus Snake and he has a white mask on with a eyepatch, i think thats his Dad and he says for this new character to carry on the mission and make Snake proud, well thats what i heard.

And Revolver Ocelot, you would get a better response about this in PS2 Forum

And I am suprised with the new character in MGS2. But he looks quite cool, he might even be Solids son or something but that is just a guess.
