what ever happened to the good old days when it was just 2 consoles. It was Nintendo Vs Sega give or take the odd entrance of crap like Atari.

I mean gaming was simple you had an NES or a master system (catchy name) Snes and the mega drive it was bliss.

There were fights in the play ground you know the usual argument "na Mario could kick Sonic's butt ect" all was fine and dandy.

i bought a Snes (and still got the little buty) and i was happy great games (cheap games to) and lasted me about 4 years.

then things got a little different when i got the Amiga as it was a good little machine which didn't seem to step on Sega or Nintendo's ground.

Then sunderly out came a Sega saturn WOW i thought and there was rumours of Nintendo and Sony getting together to make the ultra 64.

anyway the Saturn arrived and i kinda liked it but never got one due to the silly price plus i didn't like those cacky joypads. anyway while this was going on sony split from nintendo as sony wanted a CD based console and nintendo errr didn't.

Anyway i waited for PSX which got read named to Playstation. but i held back because of Nintedo's alwsome console.

Then eventualy after delay after delay N64 came and i didn't like it. it's graphics were slighly blury the games were all kiddy platformers if they didn't take so long with it i'd of still been a kid and might of liked it.

Damn losing track here this is more like a history of.

but back to my Point there used to be just 2 consoles made by sega or nintendo but soon there'll be Nintendo, Sony and micrsoft oh and the almighty PC which isn't as user friendly as a console i know. But really how many makers are we gunna get making games consoles it's stupid there all fighting giving the specs of how there system is better than so and so's.

But what ticks me off is that there all so rapped up in there so called great systems that there missing what makes a console so great. ORIGINAL GAMES i mean back in the days of the Snes games were cool but now everyone is copying everyone we have a shed load of rally games and fighting games but no one is making there's any different. All i want is some cool game modes like tekken 3 had or another game to rival metal gear using the stealth idea but making it so different that i'd want to buy it.

coming all you game companys get some fresh ideas and why not start with the gamers i mean some of us have great ideas for games and with the power of next gen consoles it'll be easy.

It would make gaming so easy if each system had some great games. i mean easy as in easier to decide what to get. i bought my Snes for great fighting games like street fighter 2 and cool platformers like Mario
