Here you go, I havent given you a game to play for awhile so enjoy this game of Tron. It was a movie in the 80ies, it wasn't a big success but the game was, grossing more than the movie itself.
I can only get to level 3 (out of 6), it's not easy, even GP and Kawada would find it a challenge.

Yeah but I read the other day that they are finally doing something about it. Of course I cant find the article now.
When it was originally reported back in 2005, it was supposedly a remake. Whether thats still the plan I dont know.
Should be very interesting.

Now that was a challenge unlike any other.

Reminds me actually, the new Flash Gordon mini-series airs in August in the US. I can hardly wait. ;)
There was meant to be another movie as well, not sure if anything ever came of it though.
Oh and just to keep things on topic, theres also another Tron movie in the making. :)

It's supposed to be a tongue-in-cheek homage to the comic strip style TV serials of the 50s and 60s, so it's deliberately camp. Great movie with a ton of famous cameo roles.

The movie didn't do that badly on release, but it grew in popularity over time and became a big cult movie, especially amongst early gamers.
There have been a fair few games based on the movie, starting with the Tron arcade game in 1982. I still have a soft spot for the movie.
