Primarily, I would like to take this moment to apoligise about my 'Nintendo Sucks - Longest Thread' post, as it was entirely uncalled for. I was too high on caffeine which is probably recommended at my tender age of youth.

Secondly, I would like to tell you about which console you should purchase.

Many debates in the gaming world are going on about which company is supreme and which. What you really have to decide is which genres you most prefer. If you are a platform freak and a fan of other cute animals then I see nothing better for you than a Gamecube. If you like 'realistic' games which try to depect a real world with FPS' and driving games then I would recommend an X Box. Lastly, if you like your gamepad in every pie then the Playstation 2 is your best bet.

I have had my PS2 since launch, so I have the finances for another games console - which will undeniably X Box. YOu have to realise that many different gamers have different tastes, so one console can't be 'the best'; similarly another cannot 'suck' (as I so finely put it).

Look hard inside your self for an answer. If not, you can always rob your local Electronics Boutique armed with a kitchen utensil.

Yet again, I apoligise for my indiscretion and thank SR for giving me a second chance.

Bourneo.

I think Nintendo are the nest games/console manufacturers in the world!! They've also been very successfull world-wide, mainly due to the target audience of their products. It's been said many times that Nintendo aim their games and consoles mainly at kids (a younger audience), but they're games can infact be enjoyed by an audience of an older generation! The age range ranges from teenagers upto older adults, and sometimes even older!

Other consoles have tried to aim at just teenagers, and ignored the kids. They're therefore missing out on opportunities of making more money, and could therefore be less successfull than they're closest rivals.

So it it very important for a company to make a range of games suitable for all ages, and not just suited to one particular target audience.

Lol,
'happy christmas - i couldn't sell it, so you might as well have it, at least i won't have to buy a present. Not that i would have spent the 8 pounds on you, but you can't win them all'

No, i'm kidding. I'd have been very happy with a nes. Better than the stuff i usually get.
Ah well, christmas greed and ungreatful receipients of presents - i love this time of year ; )
