I think I am losing emails, and also my emails are scattered all over the place in my inbox, so I am missing emails because they just decide themselves where they want to go, is this a common problem ?

It sounds more like your email client isn't sorting on Received date/time to me.
Try clicking the column header in your Inbox to sort on Received Date/Time - works with most popular clients.
