i have not got THPS 3 yet, but i might ask for it for crimbo. one thing i want to know is, how does it play online. with the diamond 56k modem. does it lag much, or is just like playing via ilink. also is there a 2 hr limit (i have btinternet and they have a 2hr limit)???
I doubt any of us have played it online, due to the lack of replies from people who have experienced it. Online play is the same as 2 player mode but you get the whole screen. It will probably be like online PC games i.e. The game lags due to it being a slow connection.

Why not just buy the game, 'cause it rocks big time, and then try it on-line yourself as you say, at no extra cost?
If someone replied saying "oh, its ok online with a 56k modem" would that push you to buy it? And if they said "oh, its pants with a 56k modem" would that stop you from buying it?
If this is the case, then I put it to you that you are only considering buying it for the novelty of on-line play. If you that to be un true, then surely you were going to buy it anyway?

i know that th 3 is a good game, i played it on my mates ps2, but he dont have the net. i want to know what its like online cause that could persuade me to buy it as i already have the correct modem for my laptop.
The 2 hour cut off doesnt matter, as you can play it for 5 mins or 5 hours. All you would have to do is reconnect. You will need a USB modem and I think only one modem is supported. Best thing to do is get the game and then buy the modem. As Iam The Tarrant said, dont worry about online play, most people wont ever get the chance to play it online until the offical modem is launched.
Err.... seeing as so very few of us have played it on-line, don't expect a response any time soon.
It plays fine one player off line, on-line it'll probably be ok too, but really - the crooks of the game is not online play.
Just get it and stop worrying about the online features, wait for the official net adapter and play as Wolverine while you wait. Problem solved
