RPG's are not my cup of tea, but i believe from others that Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance that is released on Friday is pretty good.
shadowman is correct baldurs gate: dark alliance is a very good game. i have played the demo and thought it was fantastic. (yet anthor 35 squid to splash out)
You could try jak and daxter, great game!, its a platformer, but its a AAA title, worth the money!!
Baldur's Gate is the best loved and most widely appreciated RPG on the PC, it's console couterpart Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance is released on Friday. This will be the only RPG on the Ps2 worth owning to date, and adheres to the Dundeons and Dragons board game rule set. Ignore any other suggestions, an RPG fan will appreciate this game.
If you don't want an RPG, Grand Theft Auto 3, Devil May Cry, Onimusha Warlords, Tony Hawks 3, and Gran Tourismo 3 are very good choices.......
