Slippery small squelching star James Pond is back and about damn time too.

When I first met our slippery, comical friend on the SEGA Game gear many years ago I thought it was awesome without a doubt one of the greatest Platformers of the time and those were the Mario Sonic fighting days and for a fish to show a plumber and a speeding hedgehog how to do a Platformer by slapping them in the face with his fins was funny enough.

Ok so James Pond didn't quite match Mario or Sonic but he had a certain class, something about him made him stand right up with those platforming giants. But the flipping fish disappeared as soon as he appeared and was tossed back into the lake so he can return to his family in the lake.

But that lake was a dangerous place after his Mum was caught by a psychopathic fisherman without a license his dad couldn't take it and was buried under sediment only to return as a fossilized creature in a few million years. His Sister disappeared to star in Conker's Bad Fur Day and poor James was left to fend for himself in the dingy, disgusting, devilish disaster of a lake.

Sad and alone James Pond contemplated killing himself until Swing Entertainment showed up offering Mr. Pond a new license this time to appear on Nintendo's Gameboy Advanced next year. Not all details have been finalized and it is very possible James Pond will appear on the GAMECUBE! That's a right folk our most favourite amphibian, the underwater agent, the worlds greatest fish detective is back and this time he's with Nintendo.

It just gets better.

I had Aqua games for the amiga and it's daft, trampolines, running over water against frogs, haha, no doubt Nintendo will slap another £34.99 price tag on it.
