Getting to grips with what I hear you ask.
Well it is all about your grip. Occording to scientists everyone has a unique grip. This could be a new breakthrough in many areas to do with safety. Up until know the main other ares of study have been finger prints, retinal scans and facial recognition. Well now the grip could be the next one.

It raised a few interesting points when I thought about it, bare in mind I am just thinking about this now and probably not thought through as much as it should be.

First area is with fire arms or guns what ever you call them.

In the future if this technology was to be utilised to the best of it's ability then each gun could be programmed to only operate in the hands of it's owner. That way each gun could be only fired by the person who obtained it, so that way not just anyone could get their hands on one.
There is of course a major problem to do with getting rid or changing every gun that is in use in the world today but surely if it is an idea that could make the world a safer place then it must be a good one.

Following the disaster of September the 11 th, security at airports and on planes has been stepped up. This idea could be used within the plane. The control stick could be programmed to allow only the piolet to fly the plane, if someone else touches it then the plane could automatically switch to auto piolet mode and land at the nearest safe airport.

This could also be useful if the piolet becomes ill then someone else could take the control and it would automatically switch and fly them to a safe airport.

Ok so what are your view? Is this a good idea and one that should be worked on?

Utter bollards.

3 weeks ago, there was a story on the news of how the Americans let a man thorugh and onto the plane. In his luggage, he was carrying 7 combat knives, a stun gun and some knuckle dusters. Stepped up? No.

We have a family friend who lives in Boston, she recently flew to Washington, she was let through the airport and onto the plane without even having her hand luggage x-rayed.

I've never in anyway stereotyped Americans as being stupid, but at this point I will.

Damn Dirty Stupid Americans.
