Yep, The Lord of the Rings Is drawing ever close upon us now, with a December 19th Showing.
It's probably the only movie to get me excited like a silly little child. And why not?

You see, Im a bit of a Lord of the Rings freak.
A person who over a period of 10 years have read J.R.R. Tolkien's Books totaling over ten Times!
From the Prequel being 'the Hobbit' and the prequel to that too being 'the Silmarillion' Ive had my fair share of experience of Tolkien's imaginary world.

And really, Peter Jacksons movie adaptations have got me that bit more excited, not only will I be experiencing a Movie epic inside 3 HOURS! but I will see Tolkiens world for real, Real People, Real locations and stunningly, to top if off they even got some of the Actors to speak 'Elvish' which is used throughout the Lord of the Rings books.

So naturally, Ill be first in the cue. First in the cue with my trusty Popcorn Bucket and a large Coke.
Anyway, Is there anyone else excited about it?
Geez I can't wait, really!

No, the animated version left far too much out and progressed too slowly, I thought. I haven't seen them in a while (my dad taped them for me) but I still believe it corrupted rather than displayed Tolkien's work.

So what did you think of the original animated movie then? Ok, so the lack of material covered in the eventual finished product was disappointing (they ran out of money before it could be finished) but I thought the rotoscoping was pretty cool and the voice acting was top class. Pity about some of the mistakes though.

Come, let us dance around the forums like little children, quoting LotR, and smiting non believers with our toy Stings. Huzzah!

I'm a bigger LotR fan, so there! =P

Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
