Hi Freeola,
We are in the throughs of changing banks, I received a letter from them about two weeks ago, stating that all companies that we have Direct Debits with (inc you) were wrote to to advise of change of Bank details and to ammend the Direct Debits. They sent me a list of of my direct debits and said that usually the direct debits are moved in 3 to 5 days.

I have been checking daily and right enough most all moved to my new bank in the time specified, how ever one company appears not to have moved, (Freeola) can you check this up please, as time is running out.

I know you have an online form that I can do my self, but the bank assures me that they wrote to you and that is the way they wish to proceed.

Hi Vexxxed
here is an update - I called Freeola this morning to see what was happening, not sure who I spoke to? but he said same as you - nothing from my bank? strange as we had a list sent to us from my new bank with all the Direct Debits that they would move, they said the average is 3 / 5 days and all the other direct debits had moved except the freeola one. Any how he took my details of my new account etc no probs.
I called the bank again and explained what we had done, she was fine with that she said the first letter was sent 2nd May and another on 19th May to Freeola from Bank of scotland but asked me to call Freeola back and ask them to send me an email confirming the change had been made, so I did not sure who I got this time but he was no the most helpfull! he said log into your controll panel etc, but no where on our control panel can I see my bank details it says I pay by DD and can change it, but cant see the existing account or alter it?

I have now an email from Freeola stating that the account details have been updated :-)

Hi Kev,

I do not believe we have heard from your bank in regards to this. I would recommend filling out our online system to ensure the account has been setup correctly with the new details. When this happens, the old details will be over written and payment will then continue as normal. Should you have any further issues or queries about this, feel free to give us a quick call and we can double check this has been updated correctly.
