Ubisoft Presents

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, the highly anticipated sequel to the excellent Assassin's Creed 2. Players who played and completed ACII will rejoice in the fact that Renaissance assassin, Ezio Auditore da Firenze, continues his crucial role to the asssassin's order by taking down one of the most notorious families of all time: the Borgia.

Age only makes it better...

Huge differneces can be made between Asassin's Creed's Altair Ibn' La Ahad, the assassin from the Third Crusade, and Ezio. Ezio being able to climb faster and use a variety of weapons unlike Altair who only had his blade, dagger, sword and knives. In ACII Ezio starts out as a hotheaded teenager who is ignorant of the world around him. With his family murdered Ezio seeks revenge on those who betrayed his family.Over the next few years he makes the change from the hot headed teenager from the beginning, to the grown man who becomes a master assassin. ACII ends with Ezio being 41 years old and age doesnt seem to take its toll on him. As a matter of fact he seems to run even faster and be more agile in terms of free running. Assassin's Creed Brother hood continues this, spanning over 7 years, making him 48 at the end of it. And he can still do everything better than anyone.

Requiescat in pace...

This time Ezio takes his fight to Rome, the largest Assassin's Creed area to date, to take down the Borgia family. While the story isnt as long as it was in the second one, the events and actions that take place are nonetheless exciting. The ability to counter more easily and execute killstreaks (killing your enemies one after another in one swift strike of the blade) allows Ezio to take on hordes of guards without ever feeling too overwhelmed.

You can relive them as many times as you want

Unlike ACII, players can now replay memories by accessing the DNA timeline. By simply selecting a memory, it can be replayed as many times as desired and done in different fashions. Not to mention the requirements for 100% synch on all memories. Ezio had lived those memories certain ways, and to receive the synch bonus, players will have to complet the required action that is given under the mission objective.

The rest is up to you...Desmond

Desmond Miles, the series' hero plays an even bigger role in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. With his training through the Bleeding Effect from Assassin's Creed 2 compllete, he now has platforming levels of his own such as the catacombs under the Villa Auditore and the area under the Coliseum. He and his team of Assassin's, Lucy Stillman,Shaun Hastings and Rebecca Crane, return to search Ezio's memories in hopes of finding where he stored the Apple of Eden.

It is good to see you again

A host of other characters return in this game. Players will recognize Claudia and Maria Auditore, Ezio's sister and mother. La Volpe (Fox), Bartolomeo Di' Alviano, Caterina Sforza, Niccolo Machiavelli, and Rodrigo Borgia. While many of the last game's characters make a return, dont think there wont be anyone else joining the fray. Ezio meets his match in Rodrigo Borgia's son Cesare Borgia. Cesare also has his own band of characters who later become Ezio's targets.

Welcome to the Brotherhood

One of the best additions to the series is the use of the Assassin Brotherhood. At one point in the game Ezio is named Master Assassin, leader of the Assassin's, and he begins to use his authority to find and recruit citizens who are rebeling and fighting back against the Borgia. Once recruited, these people don the Assassin's garb (hood and robes) and are standing by to do Ezio's bidding. See a guard patrolling the rooftops and dont want to get into anything too dirty? With a quick press of a button one of your assassin's will jump out of a hiding spot and dispatch the guard. Your assassin's are all around you, whether you are aware of it or not.. After calling them forth and sending them on missions in other countries, your recruits will eventually be ready to be promoted to the rank of Assassin.

Leonardo! They took him...

In Ubisoft's most recently released DLC, The Da Vinci Disappearance, Ezio must search for his friend and famous architect and painter, Leonardo Da Vinci, who has been kidnapped by an unknown group. It mainly consists of going to through two new areas and recovering Da Vinci's paintings. Once recovered, they must be searched to find a secret message written by Leonardo himself that may help them in finding him.

Abstergo Employee of the Month

While the single player is the main part of the series, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood introduces a new mode: Multiplayer. Abstergo is training employees through the bleeding effect (just like Desmond through Ezio) and preparing for a full on assault on the Assassins. In most multiplayer modes such as Wanted and Manhunt, players are given a target and tasked with finding them and assassinating them as stealthy as possibleto earn points. At the same time however, the predators are also prey. While they hunt, someone else is hunting them. In Alliance, players team up to track down another team of players while being hunted themselves. In one of Ubisoft's DLCs chest capture was added. 2 teams of four compete with one team trying to capture the chests on the map and the other stopping them at all costs. With Ubisoft's most recent DLC the modes Escort and Assassinate were added. In Escort, there are tow teams of four compete with one team excorting 2 VIPs throughtout the map while on the lookout for the other team who are attempting to assassinate the VIPs. In Assassinate, its a ten minute free for all. Players are not given a target, only a general location as to where other players may be. Once identified it is up to the player take down his target as quickly as possible without being identified himself/herslef. With the single player being as short as it is, multiplayer offers an excellent addition to the series.

Put him back in the Animus!

If your a big Assassin's Creed fan, you may want to pick this game up and put a good amount of hours into it. It will be worth it. But be ready for Assassin's Creed 3 which, if the rumors are true, maybe coming later this year.
