When the press or media get a whiff of a new idea they usally tell the world and get people excited. In the case of somethings this was good ie when the allies invaded france but a bad example is harry potter, the film was poo.
With the realease of new console soon in this country ie the X-box and Gcube, there will be loads of hype about each console and there already has.
The hype around the console will untimately lead to some sort of a let down let us not forget the dreamcast when that came out it had boasted that we could use the internet straight away the truth was far different no internet for a long time.
So although it is good advertising we shouldn't get carried away and just concentrate on the facts and assume nothing.
