The vehicles in the game are excellent. The vehicles are basically split into two sections, 1-mass destruction vehicles 2-Fast vehicles to get you from point A to point B in as less time as possible. There are 12 vehicles in total and are all very different. The first one you have is the good old Bull Dozer. The bull dozer can destroy buildings easily and has a high top speed and good handling. Backlash is extremely good and flatening everything, but unfortunately you need to power slide into the building, which takes a lot of practice to master. Skyfall is a little buggy which has a reinforced bottom. Like the name implies the best way to destroy a building is to fall on top of it. Sidesweep is ideal for destroying rows of buildings as when you press the damage button to arms come out of the side a push the building down. However it can be tricky to handle especially if it is a tight gap between the rows of buildings. Then there is the Ballista, which is the only vehicle in the game to have weapons. Ballista is basically a motor bike with two rocket lauches on each side. The trouble with this vehicle is the fact that the front is so light that when you accelerate the front rises. This may not seem to be a problem, but when the front rises so does your rocket launchers, therefore you can completly miss the building you want to destroy. Aswell as having cars and bikes of mass destruction, there are also some robot suits that the hero can fit into. These suit can destroy huge buildings in litterally seconds if used correctly. The best robot has to be J-bomb which rockets on his back to allow him to rise in the air. When he is directly over a building, press a button and he will fall down onto it. This attack is devastating, unfortunatly however you rarly get it to use. The other two suits-Cyclone and Thunderfist-are nearly the same and either tumble into buildings or sumersault into them. These to can cause great destruction and are quite fun to use.
The other vehicles are all racers and consist of an A-team van look-a-like, the American Dream car, a Blues brothers police car and a red with a white stripe Torino. These cars are very fast and tend to skid everywhere except B.A Baracus's van as he is no crazy fool driver. These cars also make great horn sounds especially B.A's van which says "Outa my way" in true B.A style.
The graphics in the game are very good and everything runs correctly. The box boasts the best explosions every seen in a game. But most people have not seen an explosion when a building is run into my a buldozer (well I haven't) so do they look that really? Anyone who can possitively answer that question please let me know. Anyway the box is a little bit out of date as the best explosions are now on Goldeneye. This aside the level of detail is truely amazing, even on little things. The levels on Blast Corps actually look real. The only badly designed thing is the person you control in the game, who looks just like a green matchstick man with no head.
The levels are well designed but later on can get very annoying and hard. This is good though as it offers loads of challenge and then once you have finished the level there is a wonderful sense of satisfaction which some games fail to obtain. The levels later on in game are also designed so that you will only just make it. This is extremely nerve racking and you will sweat like sumo wrestler as the game gets you really involved, which some games also fail in doing this. The trouble is you get too involved and always find yourself saying just one more go, and then find that you have spent the best part of five hours play "one go". This is a major disadvantage, not just for your sleep patern but also for the game as you will finish it in a matter of days. However when I say finish, I don't actually mean finish it, because once you have done all the levels you then have to go back and get platinum times on each level. These times are nearly impossible to beat and will not bother trying them more then once unless you have nothing better to do.
Thanks 4 reading, Afro.
