ive already got:
Pro evo
Gta 3
silent hill 2
gt3
wot next?
SSX Tricky
I hated it.
Great graphics, great gameplay, but it's a platformer, what can I say? I'm sure the <15 market will be highly amused by it, but it ain't for me.
Dropship was fun though, as I enjoy blowing things up. But I'm not a pilot and found the controls unwieldly, hopefully you can configure your own in the actual game when it comes out. Same goes for Thunderhawk and Top Gun.
Lotus challenge looks 'fun' so I might bear it in mind for the future, same for F1 2001. GTC - Africa I won't be getting as I already have 3 driving games, all different types, but Lotus and F1 are two that might just expand my gameplay in the driving genre nicely.
Anything which involves standing on a board and pulling tricks seems to be a waste of time if you've already played THPS2 or 3, and anything involving kicking a ball into the back of the net seems to be a waste if you've already got Pro Evo Soccer, so I'm avoiding those genres for now.
Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance got 8/10 and glowing comments from the reviewer, I'm soooooo glad I'm getting that one next. ;-)
> Definatley Jak and Daxter - Its the most playable game of the year I reckon!!
lol! That cartoony, babyish, childish game?
Oh yeah, sorry. It's ok for PS2 fans to call Cartoony style Nintendo games childish but for a Nintendo fan to do so to a PS2 game isn't on is it.
btw: I've not played Jak and Daxter, it could be good, might be rubbish for all I know. I'm not judging it til I've played it. I'm just making a point whilst an opportunity has arisen.

I'm sure it'll be even better in some respects and should make up for the very slight letdown of Luigis mansion.

A good gamer doesn't just 'decide' to get a game. You have to plan whoich one you want and weight it up against the competition.
Then base your decision on reveiws, people opinions and your likes/dislikes in a game.
You don't want to buy a heap of crap though. What everyone's suggested is fine, J and D is fun and great and DMC is exciting and spooky.
Pick and Choose.
Ta-daa!
> ive got a ps2
I guessed that, but you didn't specify. :)
For the PS2, I recommend Jak&Daxter. As close to the real thing (Super Mario 64) as a PS2 owner will ever get.
