Well heres a game that'd be well cool it is set in the genre in between sims and command and conquer. You are Saddam Hussein while having ur republican guards watchin u all the time u have to try and get a gud enough army to beat the allied forces you have to go around the streets looking for ordinary people willing or not willing to fight so ne1 u feel u need to ruin there lifes u can giv them a gun and send them to war.
And they can either go three ways they can either rebel = where your army kills your guards and try you this happens if you dont feed them well etc.
They can surrender = the allied forces find out your every move and start to bomb baghdad etc. you can prevent this by giving your men proper equpiment so they can fight and maybe a few patriots or even a gun instead of a catapult what is there initial gun sould we call it. or maybe try to let them have an opinion
Or they could fight = the only problem is where do you get the money well you can either make their families slaves (very sick in my opinion) or stop burning your oil rigs for defence because if you give the troops proper weapons you dont need that and at a last resort you can sell your palaces. you can also upgrade as you go along to chemicals what is a bad idea and should only be used in a must position and because if you do all the other countries will join the allied the only way you can get people on your team is to make stories up.
And if you dont use chems you can buy amunnition etc. off other countries France and Russia etc. And if you fight by the rules of war people will begin to help you!!! you can also be one of your soldiers at a time and while in TROOP MODE you can collect prisoners of war where you can interagate them and make them speak about the allied forcs or you can send spies into the allied bases to blow them up the spies will not be as obvious as the command and conquer series but will be extremely hard to find someone willing...

nah... dont worry about it mate, yes it sucked but all newbies get this (most not all)... you'll learn not to be hated someday
You do realise that this is all actually happening?
