Don't bother telling me to go and put it in the reivews section because I have already done that and am posting here for a chat topic. Here goes!

Snap your old SSX disc to pieces. Once you've played Tricky, you'll never go back to it.

EA Big have taken SSX and stuffed it through a pencil sharpener, taught it some naughty words and fred it from a cannon. Sharper, meaner and faster - the king of the slopes is back.

If only all sequels were this good. Everything that annoyed you about the first game has been put right and the good bits have been made better. Hate Jurgen and Hiro? Well now you will never see them. They're gone. Want new challenges? Well take 2 new circuits and a revamped Showoff mode. Want new stunts? Well slap on some Uber tricks and hey! You've got a great game.

The gameplay is different and familiar at the same time - welcoming for newbies, but has deep and extended play for those who are used to the game. Within hours anyone can begin to hit huge 720 degree Cans Cans in the blink of a frosty eye. But now the racing is tighter than ever, so one small mistake and you're battling for a win right up to the line.

One big change is the Uber tricks : reality defying moves that get your special bar shooting up. They might look daft, I mean who would spin a board around their head while 200ft in the air? - but they add a welcome layer of depth to the trick system. Use all of your boost trying to catch the pack and you won't be able to do Uber moves and just be stuck on the pitiful tricks and fall behind badly. Decisions, eh? If you land 7 Ubers then you light up your Tricky bar and get INFINATE boosts! Sounds good! It is. Some experts will try risky Ubers, hoping to catch up on speed later on. Finally a racing game rewards show-offs properly. The sounds perfect, the powder squeak is divine and MZ Rhazel's madder than ever - the brill graphics and gameplay make for blistering gameplay and an emotionally mind- bending experience.

Problems? Only that it's more of the same. While Tricky is better in every way, it can feel a little too comfy. If you're oly interested in racing, you'll see everything in a week. Die-hard tricksters might find that the Showoff mode is slightly too easy, though there are plenty of hidden bits and shortcuts to keep players going for weeks on end. There's huge scope to really show off.

Still the best on PS2. Newcomers will love it and veterans will relish a hardcore challenge. This all new SSX does the trick - and does it in style.

Thanks 4 reading, Afro.

Don't count this as part of the review. These are just my ratings.

GRAPHICS : Great animation, nice touch of speech. Top class, best SSX yet.

GAMEPLAY : Easy to pickup from the start and is great all the time. Heavenly.

LIFESPAN : Racers will take around 2 weeks but tricksters will take months. Patience needed.

OVERALL : I think SSX Tricky is one of the best sequels ever and deserves a sequel award (if there was one). Sheer brilliance. Pity though, if you didn't like the first one then you won't like this. 96%

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
