There are so many games based on war and still more being made, most around world war 2 and there probably keep on making them because we love them,all sorts of game genres are games based on world war 2 like 1st person shooters and real time strategy are just a few.
But i can see somewhere in the none to distant future there being some kind of game based on the war that is going on as you read this,it wouldnt surprise me at all.
Also i think this would make a great game

There already is a game called 'Conflict: Desert Storm' It's basically what's going on a the moment. You should play it - on PS2 and PC, i think...
I don't feel theres a right and wrong about it Robin, its just the way I feel about it. It's not my cup of tea. Others though, wouldn't be bothered about it.

To be quite honest, someone making a game about what's going on at the moment would have been the furthest thing from my mind right now. I don't agree with games that are based on devastating real life events. I find it a bit disturbing getting enjoyment out of something based on a situation where people lost their lives. I like the fantasy elements in games, I enjoy games because they let me escape real life, not bring me back there. That's just my opinion. I'm sure many of you will differ, and thats fair enough.
It's hard to make a game about accidently shooting your own people.
Then trying to find out who's a civ and who's a Iraqi trooper.
Then getting stuck in a sand-storm then a tropical rain storm.

First Gulf War was covered brilliantly in Three Kings too. Now we can get sequels.

Yea that would make sense . . . there aren't many driving games out there. By driving i mean by just driving around the streets keeping the speed limit an all.
I think a really long realsistic driving game would be good, i know that i would love it...
There will also be films about this current war. No doubt about it
