Its been a long time, but it feels like only yesterday I came to seek the meaning of my life on these forums, and annoying Tony was what they seemed to be, until I saw Grix to annoy... nah only joking. What I will do is go through the memories I have had of the Special Reserve 'chat' forums.. look out for your name.
(Oh, by the way, I am typing this without the facts of dates etc.. so if I get months wrong thats why)
Topics I remember:
I remember the first topic I replied in, it was 'Golden Rhino's' Nintendo quiz, I managed to answer all the thirty questions and people like Grix said well done...
Here are a few things I remember, just to get the topic started.
-The stories, including the first one
-Meka Dragon and those bloody songs
-The introduction to YourHonour who followed those bloody songs.
-The infinite ways of killing Sniper.
-All of mine
-Grix's EXCELLENT SR DocuSoap.
-Ant's brilliant stories
-Venombyte killing me with RCP90's
-A guy named Cheatguru
-FantasyMeister at the XBox's defence
-Goatboy giving me advice with my first 'love'... it worked.
-Getting warned.banned.unbanned.elected.thanks :-)
-Winning all the Extra GAD's
-Winning four GAD's in twenty days.
-Grix threatening to leave, then his brain posting.
-Reaper and me simply having pointless arguments
-My englshi impruvin rely wel. thx SR
-Becoming the so-owner of the WLT with RBS
-Prodding the n00bs with TW and RBS
-Writing my emotional 'My Way Out' topic, which made me release tears for so many different reasons.
-Talking about the Floyd with pb and Goatboy
-Tony and Ali.... in a topic.. a rare moment.
Those are my great memories from SR, they are ones that will never be forgotten by me simply because they were so great.
Those are the moments, now lets talk about the members of SR. I don't want to leave anyone out, but sadly I will as I am typing this late... respect to you all, yes including you Tony. Who I shall start with.
Tony- The BirdMan, he called me a cheeking lil so and so. He made my campaign HQ. I claimed to actually be him. This guy of whom I speak is funny and great alike most of you, however, upmost respect to him, without him, none of this topic would have been possible, and also neither would my exam results in English.
Grix Thraves- The guy who argued with my brother over what is better 'a piece of paper of a mac' topic. Obviously he lost because he got bored and moved onto his stories. I admire Grix, his language on the forums is neat and he is probably the most respected on here. My favorite moment was when he admitted the Microsoft Train Sim joke... that was super.
Sniper- The first guy who in my first leaving topic (as Grix said 'they are countless'), said he wanted me to stay. Sniper carries a great funny parrot on his shoulders, who types for him. He has died more times then Jordan has had operations. This guy is Immortal.
Goatboy- He started, and he hasn't stopped making me laugh, he carries the somewhat approach to life I admire because if he has something to say in any situation he will say it. Also, I have to respect anyone that likes Pink Floyd :-) Goatboy, one last thing, keep up the good advice :-P
RastaBillySkank (RBS)- He came with a name which had so many alternatives we laughed. He came with a name that made us laugh. He lives in the WLT, and at one point he posted about 3000 a month... overtaking Grix and becoming the super poster he is. At the age of 13, this boy is gonna be around. :-) the prodding RBS.. the prodding.
TurboNutter- Although he tried to like Nintendo, he never pulled it off. TBN was (think he has left) a poster which deserved more respect from us all. He knew his stuff and helped the forums members if they had a question. Ahh.. the summer days when we used to be posting at obscene hours.
Your Honour- He joined to defeat a dragon from writing songs, I remember this as I was who triggered it off... I honestly didn't think he would stay around, but he has and I read all his topics and enjoy. Great. And I hope he doesn't stop :-)
Ant- I remember Ant as the first member I 'bonded' with on the forums, he was in the WLT looking for help against a guy called 'The Game' (not that game, another one). Nobody was on so as a new guy I went helping him without really knowing much. Since then, everything Ant posts gets better, read his stories, and learn. :-)
FantasyMeister- God, his post about the Mars bar and Sniper made me laugh so much, I remember FM as a part time forumer when it suites him, he disappeared for the early months of the year, then returned with loads of posts to make up for. He is a great member, someone who should be respected and I am not quite sure whats happening with the consoles now? XBox still FM?
SHEEPY-He had an actual sheeps sense of humour, I tried to kill him after he called me names and wouldnt stop (remember.. muhaha). The truth is this sheep lives with Joe from Special Reserve in Scotland, and he smells :P No not really... he lives by himself and when on the forums he is someone I look up to because he don't quit.
Meka Dragon- If Nintendo had an army, Meka would want to lead it. He sticks by the N's side no matter what, just like me. Instant approving *stamps Mekas head*. He doesn't spend as much time on the forum... maybe because of the mekets? Who knows? :-)
Dan2k1- He is a one in a million poster, when he thinks up an idea, he never stops typing. The server submits it for him I reckon with the autoworded bit 'Thanks. Dan.' The only poster to make me feel tired scrolling down, and that wasn't because the post was bad.. oh no.. my hand was getting tired moving the mouse down. :-)
Bonus- The fights with SHEEPY. Bonus arrived and everyone thought he was a guy named 'CheatGuru'. heh.. I remember that topic 'I am not him' and then Cheatguru submitting the same topic 'I not Bonus' at the same time... well he isn't for sure, because he knows what letters are. A good mate.
ssxpro-Don't see him much more, remember we used to talk about taglines a lot. Shame he is no longer around.
TimeWarp-Same as ssx. :( Just remember the prodding.
Dringo- Ahh... the guy who seems to make a new topic every hour that has the potential of winning, my theory is he is Tony's son... but that was before I knew him. Dringo seems to hold a special place in my forum mind as he stayed because of song I wrote for him. And his topics are grrrrrreeeeeaaaaaaattttt.
DanUK- Now Strafex. DanUK which I will always call him was a Nintendo man, we talked about gaming and the future. He remains somewhere on cookooland... its DanUK. Super. :-D
The Game- Didn't want me to win the elections, thought I took it too seriously... until he realised I was taking the pee back to see what his reaction was :-D The Game has heard me sing. Read my boring topics and even........ Game=Great
Mystique- The women who will have her 'riding' lessons with me. Thats all.
pb- He talks to me a lot on MSN, knows quite a lot about me, and it all started when he said he could get me standees. *bows*. I will bow again because he has played a GC. *bows* pb-purebrilliance
There are at least 20 I could write stuff about... but this topic is getting rather large and my eyes are hurting so I want to stop that part. :-D
What else. Hmmm..yeah, that bit where I was banned. I would like to take this moment to thank Special Reserve for letting me back onto the boards... it wouldn't be the same for me without you. Also I feel the forums have done me a lot of good, I have meet new people, talked and shared ideas. Joked and generally had a great load of fun. So thanks Ali, Tony, Joe, Bob and of course Darkus, who manages to produce the same standard of banners then me, without the packages I have.. lol... Tony.. buy him the best :-D
Reading the forum stories and writing my own really increased my understanding and knowledge for the language, my A in the summer was only possible because of these forums and my readings. For everyone I thank.
Its been a year, I think I can say I have been the weirdest character on the forums, I feel I have changed the most and have the story I will be remembering for a long long time.
Sadly this topic is not going to end there. I have one more plea.
Am I ever going to win gameaday again....
*laughs to himself* :-DDDDDDD
Ahhh... there was soo so sosososo much more.
But I didn't want to type it because the scroll thing is disappearing.
Thanks
The one and er-nly

Quite alright RBS.

pb follows the randomness of existence theory.
So FM, out of your 73 DC games, what is the worst one?
Out of my 30 or so... my worst is 'Who Wants to Beat Up a Millionaire'.
I enjoy the first stage where I can just keep punching Bill Gates till he no longer has a face... THATS GREAT.

Halo.. heh.. the game that is somewhat 'boring', thats what I think most buyers said. :-P

And on another note... once again, you've appeared without me noticing. You're very random. :0)
