does ps2 make a great dvd player to watch films. should i stick with a seperate player?
I've got the PS2 upstairs and a DVD player downstairs. To be honest there's no difference except for the fact that the PS2 is easier to operate.
In terms of picture quality there's no sound or picture difference that I can see (except for the fact that downstairs I can watch on the 32" widescreen and upstairs I'm stuck with a 14" portable).
So, yes, the PS2 is a great DVD player.

Ive never had any problems with watching films on my PS2!! Although I am hoping to get a stand alone player eventually!!
if you have a seperate player, stick with it, but if not then use your ps2, ive had no probs wiv mine at all, theres even a dvd x region or somthin which is supposed to enhave it but ive not looked into it as im satisfiyed with it as it is for now.
im not going to get a dvd player until they realease affordable recording ones :) which r a long way off.
