“Latino Heat…” A mixed reaction as his opponent Eddie Guerrero (Ice Blaster) makes his way to the ring. This match is not for a title or a no.1 contendership, but for pride. Ice Blaster has been on a losing streak as of late, and is looking to revive his reputation with a victory, but it will be tough against the on-form Grandprix, who is WWF Forum Champion and is the favourite for his KOTR semi-final match against Blackman (Ant) this week.
The 2 men square off, locking up. Christian with a hard kick to the gut, and then whips Guerrero into the ropes. Guerrero ducks the attempted clothesline, and quickly brings Christian down with a falling neckbreaker. Guerrero goes for a quick cover, but Christian reverses, flipping himself over into a roll-up, and Guerrero kicks out before the count of 1. Guerrero scores with a Hip Toss, and then another, but this time holds it and locks in an armbar. Once more Christian fights out of it, and he manages to get behind Guerrero and position himself into a Reverse Chin Lock. Guerrero doesn’t appear to be effected, and he grabs Christian’s head and pulls, nailing the Snapmare. Both men jump to their feet, and are facing each-other once again. The crowd applaud this display of technical wrestling, and oh!! The fun is over now, as Christian nails a hard clothesline on an unsuspecting Guerrero.
Christian (Grandprix) steps to the outside, and reaches in and gets hold of Guerrero’s (Ice Blaster’s) legs. He pulls them towards the corner, ooooh!! I could hear the whole arena wince as Guerrero hits the ring pole, right where the sun doesn’t shine. Christian takes his leg, and smashes it against the pole! And again! He now jumps to the second rope, and lands feet-first right on that leg! Christian looks for the leg lock, but Guerrero reverses with a cheeky kick to the backside, knocking Christian to the outside. Guerrero now copies Christian, grabbing the legs and ooh dear! Christian gets a taste of his own medicine.
Guerrero slides into the ring and makes a cover, 1..kick-out. Guerrero whips him into the ropes, Back Body Drop! But no Christian lands on his feet, and takes Guerrero by surprise! Wham! Reverse DDT by Christian! Christian picks him up again, and nails his signature neckbreaker, Guerrero’s neck and head crashed into his knee. Christian hooks the leg, 1…2..near fall. Christian (Grandprix) now tries to up the pace, and he throws Guerrero (Ice Blaster) into the corner, and steams towards him, hitting a massive shoulder block. Guerrero bends over in pain, and Christian heads to the second rope, and scores with a high-impact Bulldog!
Christian whips a struggling Guerrero into the ropes, and takes him down a huge powerslam! Ice Blaster looks like he’s heading for another loss. Christian takes his time now, slowly hooking him up for an overhead suplex. He hits it, picks him up again and this time nails a snap suplex. Christian (Grandprix) is just showing off here, and he has every right to do so. Side Russian Leg Sweep, 1…2…and another near fall! Christian looks for some sort of Brainbuster, but somehow Guerrero slids out of it, and takes Christian down with a big right-hand! Another, and another! He bounces himself off the ropes, and IS CAUGHT BY CHRISTIAN, WHO SCORES WITH A TILTAWHIRL SLAM! Just as Guerrero got in some offence, Christian takes over once again. Christian picks him up and turns him round, twists his arms and WHAM!! The Impaler! Christian covers, 1…2…3! Christian wins this one with ease!
But the ref’s pointing to Guerrero…he had his foot on the ropes! Christian is complaining bitterly, he was sure he had the match won. I think Christian better turn around, because Guerrero is there! Roll-up, 1…2…3!! Ding Ding! Guerrero wins! Ice Blaster has a victory under his belt!
The winner of this match, Eddie Guerrero (Ice Blaster.)

> Good match. Isn't Christian's finisher now called the Unprettier, or his name
> the I'm Prettier and not the Impaler? But well done anyway.
Not sure, but I think the Impaler is a great name, so I use it.
