I went the aboved mentioned event today, saw half a dozen games, graphics etc could not be faulted, I am a PS2 and PC owner and am very interested in XBOX, it's processing power leaves the PS2 standing.
Given a few months to get some even better games under it's belt and it will be a force to be reckoned with.

The console is big because it has lots f soundproofing... and it makes sure u can't get another console under the TV ;)
Oh, and the Japanese get smaller controllers to take account of their smaller hands... a first for any console!

I went to the XBOX Xperience in Covent Garden yesterday.
I must say The visual quality of the games I saw was enough to make you forget your children's first names. Dead or alive 3 was worth the price of admission alone, OK no one paid to get in but if we had it would have been worth it.
but there was nothing new as such about dead in any real terms. Halo, however was close to orgasmic (am I allowed to say that here?) the visuals, the sounds, the vibrations, mmm the vibrations. Anyway. What I don't understand is why the thing is so big. It's bigger all round than the average VCR and the pads are not for people with small hands ie children (which is why it's OK to forget their first names as mentioned earlier),but seeing as the XBOX will probably end up being bought for Adult (fnar fnar) entertainment and kiddies will probably be Nintendo's main customers, I think the size thing will be a kind of natural selection. OK i've rambled on enough. Basically XBOX is good. And BIG.
