Yeah, Championship Manager 4. Got myself a copy (or 4, as I was picking copies up for 3 mates and me :-D) from CA Games today, and, well, what a game!

If you've played the demo, you'll know all about the new layout and how cool it looks, and how when there's something interesting going on in the match, the camera zooms on and you see a 2D map of the field with the players and a ball all visible. Genius!

There are also 39 leagues in all, including the Singaporean League, the Polish League, the Indian League and the Hong Kong League. You can also choose just one division in each country, which is really cool, although I'm not sure what happens at relegation when you do that...

Anyway, if you were planning on getting this, good on you. If you were thinking about getting it, don't think any more - buy. If you didn't want it, you're an idiot. Buy it. As soon as possible!

From what I have seen it is an improvement on the last game. More in-depth training, 2d match (which I like) and the usual player updates.

I've heard a number of people say bad things about it, to which the fanboys standard reply is "the patch will sort it out". I'm not exactly convinced by that you know. Plus, I'm about 15 or 16 seasons in on my current game, don't know if I want to ditch that to start all over again.

I pre-ordered this game about 2 months ago, come on SR, GIMMI GIMMI GIMMI!!!

First official patch out tomorrow! That's on launch day. Even with months of delays etc thousands of people are rushing out to buy an incomplete game.

Still nothing concrete with regards exact timing, my money says they are still working on the patch right now.
