I'm trying to find a good local Umbraco developer to work with us on a couple of projects, but not having much luck, anybody know anybody?
Many thanks, but yes I've tried the site, but all seem to be agencies and I'm really looking for a freelancer if possible. Sorry, local to Manchester, we are based south Manchester and ideally would like to have face to face at times though most will be remote.
Would consider somebody who is looking to join an established team also with the following skills:
Must haves:
HTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Photoshop, Illustrator, Accuracy, Good communication
Of benefit:
PHP skills, CMS knowledge (Umbraco, Magento, WordPress),
Ecommerce experience and good SEO/SMO knowledge

You mention 'local' but not local to where? You have probably tried other avenues but this may help:
