I saw on the BBC news website that you can get a device that will disable all cell phones within 60 metres. But, I went to the manufacturers site and it says not to be used by people with pacemakers. Does this mean that you can kill anyone with a pacemaker from 60 metres away?!

why didnt they make one before? i have a similar thing that stops all remote controls working in the room so my dad has to get off his fat "rear end" and change the channel from the box itself. when i want to change i just put my foot in front of the gadget (under the sofa) and use the remote so the fake signals are blocked. i also bought i wicked full electrick BB gun for £30 yesturday. In a newspaper article ages ago they were saying what a great invention these things were. That was until someone pointed out that they would prevent doctors from being paged during nights out.

The curtain raises on the opera and the mobile blocker is activated, half the audience collapse. Not a good business plan.

The word 'School' comes into mind.
Not many school kids are going to have pacemakers, and my school has a strict rule against mobiles (people still bring them, but just hide them). To stop this, my school will probably be one of the first customers.

DAMN SCIENTISTS/BOFFINS always trying to spoil our fun.

Yeah, me too. Just this big image of Sainsbury's in the mid-day old person rush hour and some young whippasnapper bringing them down. They'd rush him, but they'd never make it.
