...you never know what you're going to get! That's the thing with Christmas, you have great expectations and most of the time you get disappointed. Then again some have little expectations, but get great presents. This is the nature Christmas has invented as the king of all festivities.
Yeah, yeah, most of you here would like to have lots and lots of games for Christmas, but it just doesn't happen unless you somehow send waves to the people you know are going to get you presents head and then they'll get it for you. But otherwise, you can't tell them what you want, it isn't the Christmas spirit. You're supposed to know what the person likes and then get it for them, but if you don't it's just tough luck from Christmas.
As a Playstation fan from the day the Playstation was born, I have always wanted games for Christmas. You all know why, they're just great fun to play when you fall in that gaming mood. The thing is I like lots of other things too, like clothes (got to stay fashionable), music (got to keep to the beat) and the rest, but we can't always have what we want. But with Christmas you are ever so tempted to just hint to someone what you would like, and if you're lucky it comes, but most of the time you get new socks or shady new gloves, with love from your grandma! Sometimes you wonder if there's actually anything up there in that thick head of theirs! Last year I hinted so much to my mum what I wanted for crimbo that I might as well have said it out loud, I wanted games with clothes - what did I get, a new watch, clothes and some music Cds. Okay, it was a nice thought and everything and she did get me the clothes I wanted, but where were the games? I wanted games, not music Cds - I've got enough already!
Oh, we were all fooled by our parents with the old 'write santa a letter' trick, and most of the time all our requests were to do with toys. Well, we all know now that this is how parents know what to get you for Christmas, but we didn't know then, then when we received our presents they'll be like "OOOOh, look what kind Santa has brought you for Christmas", and we were so tempted by our toys that we didn't bother asking what they had got us for Christmas. It's wrong to fill children's head with such porkies, some grow up still believing in fairies and things like that.
One tip for, in a way, telling them what you want for Christmas is to write Santa a letter, well obviously on purpose, and then leave it on their beds for them to stumble over it...and oh, don't forget to put your name on it.
One of the worst things about Christmas is receiving crap presents. When I get my presents I never open it in front of the person that gave it to me, in case I don't like it, and they can totally tell by my face. I run up to my room with all my presies and open them one by one, there's always got to be one crap present that you've got to live with, that's another Christmas fact!
With all this I still love crimbo, the time of year for giving and laughter, just hope we'll all be smiling happily when we open our presents, not putting on a brave smile just to please the person.
One more thing, is anyone definitely getting a game for Christmas? If you are you're one lucky person, I'm still trying the hints!

How does that work out though?? Winter lasts January and February as well.

the true meaning of christmas is actually the festival of the new year when light was meant to come back after the long, dark winter (this was not here where it's more light after new-year)
and that is older then the birth of christ.
it is thought that (by some) the birth of crist was just put on that day so it looked even more special.
some think he was actually born in September sometime (the 10th or 15th or something)

Most people just want the presents, and if they know someone isn't getting them something, they don't get them something. It's not on, but to be fair, it isn't right somehow. You spending all your time and effort to get someone a present and what do they give you in return, sweet *you know what*!
