Rikishi (AfroJoe) vs Kane (Starlight)
Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the special reserve arena, where tonight, a brand new number one contender for the WWF title will be determined in this very ring!
BANG! Wasting no time, Kane’s pyro goes off with a loud explosion and the big red machine makes his way out to the ring. Upon reaching the ring Kane throws his hands up in the air and as he bring them back down, hellfire and brimstone (well, some nice pyro in any case) explodes from the turnbuckle nearly singing what’s left of referee Timmy White’s hair off his head!
‘Turn It Up!’ Here omes Rikishi (AfroJoe), the big man has his game face on and looks determined to make the most of another opportunity to get his hands on the big one.
These two seem in no rush to lock up, Rikishi takes his time de-robing. Before turning to face Kane. These two large competitors walk towards each other meeting in the centre of the ring. Rikishi is looking up to Kane and talking trash to the phenom. Kane tilts his head to one side and obviously having had enough, swings a big right hand which floors Rikishi! Rikishi scrambles to his feet, only to be knocked back down again with another swing of Kane’s big right, gloved fist.
Timmy White backs Kane up and warns him about using a closed fist, which gives Rikishi chance to get back to his feet and nail a super-kick as Kane turns back to face him. The phat man follows up, going for the early pin…1….2…..Kane kicks out. Our competitors are back to their feet, Rikishi locks kane in a bear hug-like position, before hitting a belly-to-belly suplex on the Big Red Machine. Rikishi now bounces off the ropes before going for a leg drop….but Kane sits bolt upright at the last minute, leaving Rikishi to fall straight onto his ample behind!
The tide has now turned in Kane’s favour, as he bounces off the ropes and hits Rikishi with a big boot as the phat man struggles back to his feet. Kane follows up with a high jumping elbow drop, before going for the cover. 1…Rikishi kicks out…it’ll take a lot more than that to keep the big islander down! Kane goes to the top rope, the Big Red Machine is ready to fly! Rikishi staggers to his feet and turns just in time to see Kane launch himself, hitting Rikishi with his trademark jumping lariat. Again Kane goes straight for the cover, he knows exactly what is at stake in this match. But again Rikish rolls the shoulder at two. The big man is struggling to get any offence going now!
Kane drags Rikishi back to his feet, before whipping him off the ropes, Kane bounces off the other side, before hitting Rikishi with a clothesline that sends the big man for a loop! But wait! What’s this? It’s WWF champion Chris Benoit (Grandprix)!!! Benoit is up on the apron, in an obvious attempt to distract Timmy White…which lets Rikishi get a low blow in. Benoit disapears to the back…what was that all about?
Meanwhile, back in the ring Rikishi unloads a barrage of heavy right and left on Kane, before whipping him into the corner. Rikishi signals that he’s gonna back his backside up! The crowd goes nuts!!! Rikishi runs into the corner, turning at the last minute to bury his humungous rump right into Kane who has nowhere at all to go! Rikishi turns looking pleased with himself, as Kane slumps lifeless into the corner. Rikishi turns, as if sensing this and sees Kane down in the corner…OH MY GOD!!! He’s going for the stinkface!!! Rikishi begins to back his prosterior up…but Kane gets in a slightly feeble looking low blow…stopping Rikishi dead in his tracks! But it’s not enough! Rikishi suddenly thrusts his behind backwards! Hitting the stinkface!!! Oh my god…I think Kane’s gonna gag!!!
Rikishi celebrates….he’s looks ready to go for the kill…he turns and grabs Kane by the legs, pulling him away from the corner slightly. The phat man now goes back to the corner before standing on the second rope….he’s all set for the banzai drop! He bounces on the ropes…here it comes…..and……KANE SITS UP!!! At the very last minute Kane sat up! Amazing!!! What does it take to put the big red machine away?!? Rikishi sits on his big butt in obvious pain…and thumps the ground, he can’t believe it!
Kane drags Rikishi back to his feet and hits a DDT….1….2….but Rikishi kicks out! Kane drags the phat man up again and whips him off the ropes, but as Rikishi comes back he launches himself into shoulder block, knocking the big red machine flying! Rikishi bounces off the ropes, this time succesfully following up with a big leg drop. Rikishi now goes for the cover….but wait Kane cuts him off by grabbing his throat! Kane holds Rikishi immobile as he hauls himself back to his feet. He’s going for the chokeslam! But Rikishi stamps on Kane’s foot, breaking the hold! Rikishi bounces off the ropes….but again Kane grabs him by the throat as he comes back. This time the big red machine makes no mistake….CHOKESLAM!!! 1…2….3….This one’s over!
