If you're going to go to the effort of registering and spending time on these forums, you must make the effort to type correctly.
I'm not saying you have to kick the Dosteovsky thing, but it gets really disheartening to see topic after topic with posts from Bobo The Space-Ape.
You know what I'm talking about.

sentences with no punctuation that make it really hard to decipher exactly where one sentence starts and another ends this can get really quite difficult to read and its certainly difficult to type because i automaticall want to reach for the right keys

or posts that r ritten in txt spk m8, yr not using a txt phne so u can affrd to spll the whle word.

Or that ridiculous thing of typing in street slang (Ebonics for those of you wondering of the correct term)
Becoz dat just sounds mad when my homies talk dat mad slang but dey dont know u are mad white UK kid and it sounds proper stupid, word up.
You are NOT Dr Dre, you are NOT a "G" and to be honest, it makes you sound like Vanilla Ice in da hood.
Word to your mother

Is it me?
I could read and write, certainly spell, by the time I was 6 or 7 so saying "I'm young!" is no excuse. If you do not have a basic grasp of the grammar and syntax of the English written language, perhaps you should be back in the classroom instead of sneaking out to post your thoughts on console wars.

Everyone makes typos, that's human nature, but surely the schooling system hasn't failed that badly in 15yrs that you are taught how to wear your "sneeks" with no laces instead of basic communication skills.
If Stephen Hawkins can write a book by blowing into a tube, then unless you're trapped under something heavy, there's no excuse for posts looking like you mashed the keyboard with your face and managed to hit return.

Today's rant has been brought to you by the letter B and the number 12.

Problem is that the 'H' key on my keyboard dosn't seem to be as sensitive as the other keys and I occasionally miss that letter out which is quite annoying really as it's needed quite often.

Otherwise agreed.

Yup agree, but people are lazy and crap in general, and would rather blame anything they can possibly grasp than acknowledge the fact that they're useless human beings.

I agree whole heartedly with everything you say Herr Goatbay, except one.... "new". I thought, we the SR "massive", had already attempted to impose these rules and had them categorically ignored by every stinkin' newbie that came along, until eventually they hit the "regular" staus and then start to take a tiny bit more notice.

Ah well, we may as well try I suppose.
