Hi two of are laptops can connect to the internet through belkin router using the same password but the hp laptop refuses to accept the password for the network can anyone help
Are the Laptops using the same versions of Windows, and are they all patched up to date? If you are using WPA2 keys for example, they are not supported without patches before Service Pack 3, I've also found reference to issues similar to what you are describing in Vista without a service pack.

I'd also check whether you are running software supplied by HP with the laptop to set up the configuration instead of the Windows software or vice versa, as I have seen badly setup manufacturer supplied software cause similar glitches.

Are you saying you are using wireless on your laptops and the wireless password is rejected when you enter it? Is there any error message displayed? I assume you are using the same type of wireless security on both laptops?
OR is the password accepted but you just can't access the internet?
