This is done for the fun of it. People go on about console wars all the
time in here so I thought why not do it from a different angle, one that
doesn’t get used much. The big fight to end all console wars. No nothing
at all to do with the consoles, specifications or the games. We leave it all
in the hand of the characters. Who will come out on
top?
Snake, Mario and Mr X (I don’t know much about Microsoft and their games
so Mr X will just have to do.) get ready to fight and see really who is the best
out there. We shall havethree fights to test their abilities to the max. First up
a non-physical but mental puzzle-solving task.
Round 1
Each of the three take their position on stage, each is in their own see
through and sound proof booth. The first to finish all three of the
puzzles in front of them will be the winner.
Puzzle 1 is a giant jigsaw, it is the face of a famous person split into
40 pieces.
Puzzle 2 is a maze where you have to guide the ball through from the
middle out a hole in one side.
Puzzle 3 is a series of general knowledge questions, each wrong answer
adds 10 seconds to the overall time.
The clock starts and they are off, Mario is doing very well, Mr X
appears to be struggling and can’t quite work out exactly what he should
be doing, Snake appears to be taking a logical approach and starting
with the edged pieces and working his way in. After 20 seconds Mario and
Snake have moved to puzzle 2, Mr X is halfway through the jigsaw. The
Maze proves to be a hard one for them all, in a moment of frustration
Snake losses his nerve and throws the maze at the edge of the booth,
that will be a 10 second penalty. Mr X strangely finishes first to the
amazement of the crowd. Mario isn’t to far behind and Snake takes
another minute. They all finish the test at the around the same time
Mario and Mr X at exactly the same time and Snake a few seconds later it
all comes down to how many answers they get wrong.
The Referee takes centre stage “Ladies and Gentlemen, your attention
please. In third place with a time of 6.33 minutes Solid snake (Large
boo comes from the Sony fans in the crowd), second place goes to Mario
which means our winner who also got full marks in the quiz is none other
than Mr X.
As the competitors make their way to the locker room a riot breaks out
amongst some of the Sony and Nintendo fans, the Microsoft fans sit in
their chairs typing on their laptops. Stewards and police try to stop
this ruining the event and try to obtain a certain amount of peace. The
Sony fans break in to the Microsoft section and start using their
laptops as weapons against the Nintys. All the action and rioting is
brought to a halt as the police use cattle prods and tear gas to calm
things. After this people return to their seats and a lot of the main
troublemakers are removed from the arena.
Next up is Round 2
In true WWF style fighting the three will battle it out in a HARDCORE
match. All the lights go out and suddenly a load voice says “Its a me,
its a me, its a MARIO!” Making his way to the ring accompanied by Luigi,
the Italian Stallion himself....... Mario.”
Fireworks shoot out into the air and Mr X appears at the entrance ramp.
“Making his way to the ring, accompanied by his head programmer, its
none other than Mr X!”
Finally Funky music hits and the arena goes dark, everyone watches at
the ramp to await the entrance of snake,” Ladies and gentlemen, Sony
fans, let me introduce the one the only, Solid Snake” but nobody
appears. Mario and Mr X watch and wait, Suddenly Snake appears behind
them from the audience with a metal pipe, he hits them both and the
match gets started.
Snake sets Mario up in the corner and repeatedly SPEARS into his
midsection. Takes Mr X outside the ring and Throws him through one of
the announce tables. Suddenly Luigi attacks him from behind with a
dustbin lid. Using the free time Luigi runs into the ring and Makes
Mario eat something, Looks like a mushroom. Mario then grows double the
size and starts pounding away on Mr X.
Snake slowly gets back to his feet and attacks Luigi, Breaking his arms
like a thin twigs “That will teach you to mess with the Snake”. Mario
turns and can’t believe what he sees, he grabs Luigi and carries him
backstage for medical assistance. This gives snake the upper hand, he
throws Mr X in the ring and with an elbow drop from the top rope causes
Mr X even greater pain, he then applies a deadly submission move which
makes Mr X tap out and gives Snake the victory.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, the winner of this match, Solid Snake”
The announcer takes the mic and informs the audience that the score is
1-1-0 with Mario on zero. He also lets the audience know that Luigi has
been rushed to hospital. Mario makes his way to the ring and says that
he will be victorious and will do it for his brother Luigi.
Round 3
For round 3 there would be no better way to end to competition than to
have a Gladiator style Eliminator were only one can be victorious.
First of all the competitors will all leave the start platform at the
same time. Have to travel across the balance beams, climb the cargo net,
shoot 4 targets with the air gun, slide down the large slide into the
swimming pool, swim to the end and after the end run up the travelator
and through the end first to win.
All three take their marks at the start the crowd raise to their feet
and await the winner. BANG and they are off all taking the balance beams
with ease. Snake races up the cargo net opening up a decent lead, Mario
with a severe height disadvantage finds this part tough. Mr X is trying
but physical activities are certainly not his strong point. Snake hits
the targets with ease and is already in the pool. Mr X is second into
the pool but can’t swim and has to get rescued by the lifeguards. Looks
like it over for him. Snake gets out the pool when suddenly he falls, he appears
to be bleeding from the leg and can't seem to get back up.
Mario uses this time to his advantage and swims the pool and eventually
after several goes makes it up and over the travelator to take the win.
“I am the winner!, I am invincible”
So it looks like a draw. The event organiser makes his way to the mic
“It appears Snake had to stop after a air gun pellet hit him in the
knee, so Mario is the winner of this event which make it an overall
draw. So we will have to have a final event as there can be only one
winner.”
Final round
I know there are lots of Ninty’s, Sony fans and those who like the X-Box
so there are various endings, pick the one that you fall into.
Again it is another WWF style match, A ladder match. The winner will be
the one who climbs the ladder and grabs the console wars title and
removes it from the hook.
The match gets started and all three are pretty tired, Mario and Mr X
decide to team up to take on snake, they pound away at his body and at
his weak knee. After he takes a beating Mario turns on Bill and uses the
ladder to inflict some serious damage. Mario sets up the ladder and
begins to climb, he is moments away from the top when Snake manages to
push the ladder and Mario falls to the outside and crashes through the
announce table. Snake gets up and as he sets up the ladder he is cracked
over the head with a steel Chair by Mr X Who then begins to climb the ladder,
he is close to the top when he loses his balance and falls 15ft to the ground.
(NOW CHOSE YOUR ENDING)!!!!!
FOR NINTYS
Mario begins to slowly make his way into the ring, Mr X is out cold
after his fall and Snake is showing no sign of getting up, as Mario
climbs the ladder Snake begins to get up. He makes is way to try prevent
Mario from winning but just before he can reach the ladder a chair
strikes him across the head and he falls. As Mario looks down he sees
his brother Luigi with a chair covered in blood. Mario climbs and grabs
the belt to become the champion and to make Nintendo the console
champions.
Luigi and Mario celebrate with all the other Nintendo characters and
fans, All goes dark and A shadow walks down towards the ring. It then
enters the ring and the lights go on, a few Ninty fans are hiding behind
Mario, the man takes down his hood. "It's Shigsy!!" He embraces Mario
in a hug and thanks him for doing his part.
“We are the best and nobody can stop us now” They all celebrate
backstage by watching a special version of pokemon just for winners.
For X-BOX FANS
All three are now lying on the ground badly beaten and bruised. Suddenly
the head programmer rushes down and uploads a program into Mr X, he
jumps to his feet and gets a table into the ring, he picks Mario up and
“Rock Bottoms” him through a table, he takes Snake by the hair and
throws him into the turnbuckle and then choke slams him. He easily
climbs the ladder and takes the belt and the win for Microsoft. The head
Programmer then deletes the program entitled “Great WWF Hero’s”
“The Winners and the best Console ever, Microsoft and the X-Box”
For SONY FANS
As all three remain motionless suddenly a cry from the audience “Snake,
Snake you can do it” Snake slowly raises to his feet and looks around
“MMEEERRRRYYYLLLL” (Rocky style voice) as Mr X gets up Snake sneaks up
and applies the sleeper hold and Mr X again becomes unconscious. Mario
goes for a low blow but Snake counters the Move he turns and SPEARS him and
then ties Mario up in theropes, he then climbs the ladder and takes the title.
The ring fills with Sony fans who raise their hero and celebrate their victory.
“We are the Champions, we are the champions”
The Ninty fans can't believe they have lost and all appear very sad and shocked,
some of them then make there way down to the ring and congratulate Snake and
put on Sony t-shirts in support of their NEW console.

I read something that amused me earlier. Someone said on Digitiser (Channel 4 teletext gaming pages) that the Nuon was going to win the next generation console battle. I, somehow think not. I think it will definitely be one of the big 3.

For SONY FANS
As all three remain motionless suddenly a cry from the audience “Snake,
Snake you can do it” Snake slowly raises to his feet and looks around
“MMEEERRRRYYYLLLL” (Rocky style voice) as Mr X gets up Snake sneaks up
and applies the sleeper hold and Mr X again becomes unconscious. Mario
goes for a low blow but Snake counters the Move he turns and SPEARS him and
then ties Mario up in theropes, he then climbs the ladder and takes the title.
The ring fills with Sony fans who raise their hero and celebrate their victory.
“We are the Champions, we are the champions”
The Ninty fans can't believe they have lost and all appear very sad and shocked,
some of them then make there way down to the ring and congratulate Snake and
put on Sony t-shirts in support of their NEW console.
time in here so I thought why not do it from a different angle, one that
doesn’t get used much. The big fight to end all console wars. No nothing
at all to do with the consoles, specifications or the games. We leave it all
in the hand of the characters. Who will come out on
top?
Snake, Mario and Mr X (I don’t know much about Microsoft and their games
so Mr X will just have to do.) get ready to fight and see really who is the best
out there. We shall havethree fights to test their abilities to the max. First up
a non-physical but mental puzzle-solving task.
Round 1
Each of the three take their position on stage, each is in their own see
through and sound proof booth. The first to finish all three of the
puzzles in front of them will be the winner.
Puzzle 1 is a giant jigsaw, it is the face of a famous person split into
40 pieces.
Puzzle 2 is a maze where you have to guide the ball through from the
middle out a hole in one side.
Puzzle 3 is a series of general knowledge questions, each wrong answer
adds 10 seconds to the overall time.
The clock starts and they are off, Mario is doing very well, Mr X
appears to be struggling and can’t quite work out exactly what he should
be doing, Snake appears to be taking a logical approach and starting
with the edged pieces and working his way in. After 20 seconds Mario and
Snake have moved to puzzle 2, Mr X is halfway through the jigsaw. The
Maze proves to be a hard one for them all, in a moment of frustration
Snake losses his nerve and throws the maze at the edge of the booth,
that will be a 10 second penalty. Mr X strangely finishes first to the
amazement of the crowd. Mario isn’t to far behind and Snake takes
another minute. They all finish the test at the around the same time
Mario and Mr X at exactly the same time and Snake a few seconds later it
all comes down to how many answers they get wrong.
The Referee takes centre stage “Ladies and Gentlemen, your attention
please. In third place with a time of 6.33 minutes Solid snake (Large
boo comes from the Sony fans in the crowd), second place goes to Mario
which means our winner who also got full marks in the quiz is none other
than Mr X.
As the competitors make their way to the locker room a riot breaks out
amongst some of the Sony and Nintendo fans, the Microsoft fans sit in
their chairs typing on their laptops. Stewards and police try to stop
this ruining the event and try to obtain a certain amount of peace. The
Sony fans break in to the Microsoft section and start using their
laptops as weapons against the Nintys. All the action and rioting is
brought to a halt as the police use cattle prods and tear gas to calm
things. After this people return to their seats and a lot of the main
troublemakers are removed from the arena.
Next up is Round 2
In true WWF style fighting the three will battle it out in a HARDCORE
match. All the lights go out and suddenly a load voice says “Its a me,
its a me, its a MARIO!” Making his way to the ring accompanied by Luigi,
the Italian Stallion himself....... Mario.”
Fireworks shoot out into the air and Mr X appears at the entrance ramp.
“Making his way to the ring, accompanied by his head programmer, its
none other than Mr X!”
Finally Funky music hits and the arena goes dark, everyone watches at
the ramp to await the entrance of snake,” Ladies and gentlemen, Sony
fans, let me introduce the one the only, Solid Snake” but nobody
appears. Mario and Mr X watch and wait, Suddenly Snake appears behind
them from the audience with a metal pipe, he hits them both and the
match gets started.
Snake sets Mario up in the corner and repeatedly SPEARS into his
midsection. Takes Mr X outside the ring and Throws him through one of
the announce tables. Suddenly Luigi attacks him from behind with a
dustbin lid. Using the free time Luigi runs into the ring and Makes
Mario eat something, Looks like a mushroom. Mario then grows double the
size and starts pounding away on Mr X.
Snake slowly gets back to his feet and attacks Luigi, Breaking his arms
like a thin twigs “That will teach you to mess with the Snake”. Mario
turns and can’t believe what he sees, he grabs Luigi and carries him
backstage for medical assistance. This gives snake the upper hand, he
throws Mr X in the ring and with an elbow drop from the top rope causes
Mr X even greater pain, he then applies a deadly submission move which
makes Mr X tap out and gives Snake the victory.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, the winner of this match, Solid Snake”
The announcer takes the mic and informs the audience that the score is
1-1-0 with Mario on zero. He also lets the audience know that Luigi has
been rushed to hospital. Mario makes his way to the ring and says that
he will be victorious and will do it for his brother Luigi.
Round 3
For round 3 there would be no better way to end to competition than to
have a Gladiator style Eliminator were only one can be victorious.
First of all the competitors will all leave the start platform at the
same time. Have to travel across the balance beams, climb the cargo net,
shoot 4 targets with the air gun, slide down the large slide into the
swimming pool, swim to the end and after the end run up the travelator
and through the end first to win.
All three take their marks at the start the crowd raise to their feet
and await the winner. BANG and they are off all taking the balance beams
with ease. Snake races up the cargo net opening up a decent lead, Mario
with a severe height disadvantage finds this part tough. Mr X is trying
but physical activities are certainly not his strong point. Snake hits
the targets with ease and is already in the pool. Mr X is second into
the pool but can’t swim and has to get rescued by the lifeguards. Looks
like it over for him. Snake gets out the pool when suddenly he falls, he appears
to be bleeding from the leg and can't seem to get back up.
Mario uses this time to his advantage and swims the pool and eventually
after several goes makes it up and over the travelator to take the win.
“I am the winner!, I am invincible”
So it looks like a draw. The event organiser makes his way to the mic
“It appears Snake had to stop after a air gun pellet hit him in the
knee, so Mario is the winner of this event which make it an overall
draw. So we will have to have a final event as there can be only one
winner.”
Final round
I know there are lots of Ninty’s, Sony fans and those who like the X-Box
so there are various endings, pick the one that you fall into.
Again it is another WWF style match, A ladder match. The winner will be
the one who climbs the ladder and grabs the console wars title and
removes it from the hook.
The match gets started and all three are pretty tired, Mario and Mr X
decide to team up to take on snake, they pound away at his body and at
his weak knee. After he takes a beating Mario turns on Bill and uses the
ladder to inflict some serious damage. Mario sets up the ladder and
begins to climb, he is moments away from the top when Snake manages to
push the ladder and Mario falls to the outside and crashes through the
announce table. Snake gets up and as he sets up the ladder he is cracked
over the head with a steel Chair by Mr X Who then begins to climb the ladder,
he is close to the top when he loses his balance and falls 15ft to the ground.
(NOW CHOSE YOUR ENDING)!!!!!
FOR NINTYS
Mario begins to slowly make his way into the ring, Mr X is out cold
after his fall and Snake is showing no sign of getting up, as Mario
climbs the ladder Snake begins to get up. He makes is way to try prevent
Mario from winning but just before he can reach the ladder a chair
strikes him across the head and he falls. As Mario looks down he sees
his brother Luigi with a chair covered in blood. Mario climbs and grabs
the belt to become the champion and to make Nintendo the console
champions.
Luigi and Mario celebrate with all the other Nintendo characters and
fans, All goes dark and A shadow walks down towards the ring. It then
enters the ring and the lights go on, a few Ninty fans are hiding behind
Mario, the man takes down his hood. "It's Shigsy!!" He embraces Mario
in a hug and thanks him for doing his part.
“We are the best and nobody can stop us now” They all celebrate
backstage by watching a special version of pokemon just for winners.
For X-BOX FANS
All three are now lying on the ground badly beaten and bruised. Suddenly
the head programmer rushes down and uploads a program into Mr X, he
jumps to his feet and gets a table into the ring, he picks Mario up and
“Rock Bottoms” him through a table, he takes Snake by the hair and
throws him into the turnbuckle and then choke slams him. He easily
