Sounds like a time limited exclusivity agreement to me. I seriously doubt Square Enix are going to leave such a large source of revenue as the 360 userbase untapped by Final Fantasy.

They're only selling about 2000 Xbox a month in Japan right?
Ah well can't say i was too interested in XIII after seeing the battle system and such, though it would have been nice to have it on the 360 as it might have increased sales of the 360 in Japan and given us more J-RPG's on it.

Well, they didn't say 'we're not producing anything for 360' did they? Just that nothing is set yet.
