I was lucky enough to see that one of my friends has X-Box live (and lives about 1 minute around the corner) so I played Unreal Championship. Then I set up the voice communicator and it really got fun, talking to Darth Josh whilst committing totally 0wnage. After playing for a good few hours, I can safely establish that:

a) I want an X-Box

b) I want X-Box Live (especially after I heard what the pricing apparently is!)

So is the starter pack £40 and then £40 a year from then on?

£40 for the starter pack, And I think you just need to renew it once a year.

You need broadband aswell, by the way.

The starter pack,ISP and year is over 100 quid

Instead keep going round to your mates...

i think it'll be between like £10-20 to renew after the first years membership. they can't charge £40. the £40 mostly covered for the equipemnt that you get

£40 for the starter pack and first year.

Prices unconfirmed from there onwards

plus the cost of the ISP mate ;)
