The cube has a port underneath for the Broadband modem and will have a memory thing you plug the console into, so they both have the same perhipals so far... Also, I suppose you could say Jo Dark is new...
As I said in the early discussion about the cube, I have an N64 and I thought it was great, but the cube just doesn't seem inviting as the PS2, PS2 will win because of all the great add'ons HARD DRIVE/BROADBAND MODEM....Besides Mario is old now, I think they should scrap Mario and Co. and bring in some more enthusiastic games, not like Pokemon...thats just dead.Although Zelda looks quite good i'm sticking to the Playstation 2 on this one, Well done Sony, sorry Nintendo, Sony win this battle.

I suppose it does have the edge with games, as none are yet offically annouced for the cube! All the demos will probabely evolve into games though. (Metriod! Yay!)
I recon ps2 is gonna win, don't get me wrong the n cube is lookin' pretty damn nice but i think ps2 has the edge with games like tekken- t.t., bouncer,gt2000, ridge racer 5 and a certain METAL GEAR SOLID 2! Basicly ps2 is the best console EVER but it will be interesting 2 c what the n cube has 2 offer.
Nah man, I'll think I'll avoid the PAL model. I'll more than likely pick up an import machine around the July 2001 release.

I doubt very much the console will be released until about March 2002. BUT they are under a lot of pressure...
October is for the US release by the way, so it will be about a month or two to bring it over here (PAL coding I expect...)

Although, I have downloaded the Zelda and Metroid MPEG files. Zelda looks stunning as does Metroid.
