What happened last christmas you beg borrowed and stole to get together the 300 quid to stand in the long long line, in the hope of getting your mits on a spanky ps2 but when you get it home you realose that the available games are not to good!! 10 months later and theres still not that much to shout at in the software market. Then all hell breaks loose in the past month we have seen some of the best games ever available to come to the humble sony black box. the inate spookyness of silent hill two, the carnage of gta3 and now the greatest extreme game ever tony hawks pro skater 3. please stop releasing these great games as i am once again getting blisters on my thumbs
No buses for ages then 5 come all at once. PS2 has taken a while to take off. The early line up of games had a few good titles but then nothing good came until March. Then its been a pretty good rub up till christmas, with a quite a few good games coming out in March - Sepetember. These were enough as once you had played on and finished one game the next good game was only a week away. Now we have seen 2 or 3 good must have games appear on the same day. The PS2 has finally delivered a very impressive line up, and at the best time of the year. More people will want a PS2 because of the games, and current owners will be over whelmed with the choices on offer. PS2 has never seen it better, what will happen next year? especially as the GC and X-Box will be fighting for the console to have at christmas 2002. Will PS2 still be king of the roost then?
