This is the second fastest game on the n64 the name says it all doesn't it?
There are loadsa different levels for you to reek havoc on.
The main race mode has about three different difficulty levels, if you really want a challenge you should try the atomic level.
The each super fast bike comes equipped with their own canon either pulse, photon or laser, the laser canon really packs a punch. The speeds of each bike will vary from slow acceleration but high top speed or fast acceleration but a low top speed. Strategy and bike choice is the key in this game if you want to succeed.
There's the bikes the levels and the speed but what about the power ups I hear you scream, well there well thought through and provide hours of fun 'cos without the power ups the game would be a complete loss.
The one you should watch out or is the homing missile, there a real pain in the butt.
But if you want some proper fun you should try the multi-player mode, that's got some cool arenas in it the power ups are the same but the muli-player mode will provide hours of fun.
There is a little bit of pop up but it's been covered up with that ingenious thing they call FOG, oh what a useful invention. They could've paid more attention to the textures but hey! Who cares the smooth slick Multi-Play sure makes up for any lousy textures or background detail.
So to sum it all up, it's a great game has loads of different features, a brilliant multi-play to start with super fast bikes and some wacky power ups.
So My message to all you Nintendo fans out there, if any a time you see this game don't leave it to rot away at the back of a top shelf, give it a second chance in life. Besides everyone deserves a second chance, even video games.
Thanks For Reading!
This game isn't in the database now because it isn't produced and isn't sold anymore.
Although it is a great game though! If you can find it cheap in the shops or second hand even, then get it whilst you still can!
XG2 is better though! Better weapons, more courses and better looking courses.
Where it say's The each is meant only to be each. I just noticed it. My apologies.
Anyone like it?
I'm sorry it had to be posted in here but XG wasn't in the database, usual story y'know.
