How do you decide what topics to read and respond to?

Do you see who has witten it?
Do you look at the title?
Do you look at how many people have replied to it?
Or do you look at who last responded to it?

So what do you do??

I've always just read every single one (except LONGEST THREADS!), and post when I have something to say...

but that's only when I have time... which is becoming more of a virtue with university interviews and all...

i most often reply to topics based on what the title is and who has written it.

Although i do have a look in on almost eveything, just depends how much time i have.

I've got to say its usually who's posted it. I make a point of reading:

FantasyMeister
Goatboy
pb
Ant
Grix
RBS
The_Vottanator
Mr Nice Guy
Dr's Duck and Gonzo
GasMask
WolfHound (because he loves LotR)
Misterhappy

These people always post interesting, good or funny topics. I alos reply to any newbie saying 'how do i win' because I like to insult them.

LOL, firstly, any topic that asks a question I usually reply to, like "What game u playin'?" or "How do you decide?". Mainly because I like helping out where I can and because I like topics that make me think.

If it says "I want this person banned" or "I hate WWF because" then I won't usually bother as it's got nothing to do with gaming, it's more of a rant type post. I'll only normally reply to that type of thread if I'm feeling mischievous.

Most of the threads in Prime I'll read, but normally don't reply to because with most of them all I'd need to add is "Here Here!" or "Well said!" or "I agree totally", which whilst boosting the ego of the poster would just muck up a decent topic and turn it into a chat. Most of the stuff in Prime is thought provoking, perhaps leading you to start your own investigation into the topic by doing websearches on relevant points. (A recent one was the Bluetooth Technology thread, which was quite interesting and led me to look into it further).

The ones I never read if I can avoid it are 'My short story', 'Limp Bizkit', 'Linkin Park', 'Who's awake' and so on, because I'm trying to chat about gaming, not what I had for tea last night. (Cheese on toast if you must know).

So mainly the titles first, and who's been posting in them second.
