When I finally found the game I noticed they’d upped the price to £45 and I was like what the hell it's £40 everywhere else and then it hit me I've only got £41 worth of "stuff" and can't afford it. I ring home asking if they could lend me the extra cash and when I finally got it, it was almost dark. When I got back in store this new lass behind the counter said the 2 games I was trading in were worth £20 not £8 each which I originally thought so I had enough cash in the first place. It got me thinking though ordering online is clearly soooooo much better, It’s easy to find what your looking for and to have it delivered on the release day is pure BLISS. It was butt cold today and the store stunk of hot, sweaty Christmas shoppers which will haunt me for along time, so from my next purchase onwards I'll be buying right here from SR, The service is truly excellent and postage is free so you deserve a good slap if you do otherwise.
But what makes them such a good site.
1. Brilliant service - The service from SR is brilliant. If you order a game, you will get it on the day of release (at least, I have with every game so far) or if the game is already released, you will get the game very quick, and can be with you the day after you order. Brilliant.
2. Simple - The site as well as the magazine are really simple to follow. I remember when I first found Special Reserve about two or three years ago. I was looking to get a Dreamcast, and I noticed there advertisement in a computer magazine. I found it so easy to follow, and within a short amount of time, I had the Dreamcast order, ready to arrive for release. I was quite amazed by the service.
3. The site - There is also so much to look through on the site. You can shop for tonnes of different stuff, with it be consoles, DVD players, PC's, and several different gadgets and gizmos. And then, there is the Gameaday, probably one of the best parts of of the Special Reserve site. Tonnes of people visit here to chat about games, films, football, anything, you name, they talk about it. And you can win a game for it as well. And you can also win another game if you review a game brilliantly, or win a DVD if you make a good post in certain forums, or make a good film Review. What more could you want from a online shopping site?
4. Free gift - I had to mention this. If you become a member for a year or more, you will be entitled to free gift from a rather big choice, from control pads, to games.
It gets better and better.
If all of the online gaming shoppong sites were like this one, shops like GAME and Electronics Boutique wil be out of business.
Keep up the Good Work SR.
