I would just like to know. How do you create a link, so that someone can click on it and download a file??
I would like people that come to my site to be able to download .PDF files.
Plus stuff like programs etc. Adobe Acrobat Reader
It would be a great help if anyone that knows could tell me!
P.S I know that on download sites it says something like this:
javascript:get_file.... but I am confused about that.

They do that so they can Track Downloads, and keep stats on whats been Downloaded. But it's not needed if you don't want it, it's just something some people like to know.
Oh OK...its just on most website URLS I see:
http://www.computer and videogames.com/ get.php?="ftp:// ftp:pczone.co.uk/ downloads.......
and all that....computerandvideogames was just an example.!!

You know about reletive URLS, yes? Just do a normal link to the file as if you were making a link to a page. Simple.
