i have been looking at the post's on this web site, and their replys, i have come to notice that the name you are given represents an age, allow me to ellaborate (that means explain for anyone thats not keeping up)
NEWBIE - you are a child, people patronize you, look at you differently, act differently around you. They feel as though they must follow the image of everyone else and so idolize anyone with more that 300 posts. people think if they annoy you you will tell your mummy and daddy and click "report this post"
REGULAR - you are a teenager, a rude obnoxious teenager. you rebel against society, treat others with little respect and post offensive contraversial material. You think the world revolves around you and that anything you say will be respected by others. You feel you own the website and if you decide not to like someone then it goes.
STAFF REGULAR - you are an adult, a parent to society. you have the power to ground people, when you enter a thread people want to spend time talking to you, they try to gain your respect and impress you. Regulars will sometimes rebel against you to look cool, but crawl back in the end when they realize no one is laughing.
NOTABLE - the pensioner, people lisen to you as you tell tales like a grandparent at christmas. You are also patronized by other, but shown a little respect as you are after all a senior citizen. People feel as though when you enter a post they should read it and say "thats very good" like you wouold to your grandad when he tells the fishing story for the fith time
After carrying out this research and drawing these conclusions i realized one thing; i have way to much free time.
