Medal of Honor is back! This Medal of Honor is a reboot of the series of past Medal of Honor games and is set in modern Afghanistan around the war that is happening today. This game is usually being compared to modern warfare 2.

Campaign
The campaign is fantastic and is really enjoyable. You play as the US army rangers and you play as the tier 1. The us army rangers is does the big battles in the game while the tier 1 does special ops activities like go deep behind enemy lines. You also play in one mission an apache gunfighter. Their names are Dante Adams Rabbit, Deuce and Captain Brad "Hawk" Hawkins. The campaign is set during the early invasion of Afghanistan. The story really draws you in and it makes you feel connected to the character. It also makes you wandering what’s going to happen next. The gamplay is realistic like for example let’s say you are using a sniper and you shoot their arm their arm will fly off or if you shoot their head it will explode. The campaign is made by danger close games while the multiplayer is made by dice. There is also a new mechanic where you can slide into cover and peak around corners while still staying in cover. The campaign keeps on getting more interesting and fun as you progress more into the story. The sound is realistic like the guns sound like their real life counterparts and the explosions look real like if a bomb hits the ground the mud will go far up into the sky and come back down again. It’s like raining mud. Also the talking and the radio chatter sound like you are really in the army. There are lots of surprises in the campaign and there is a variety of missions like driving a apache helicopter through the sky striking villages in the mountains but I don’t want to spoil the rest for you. There are also a lot of different locations in the campaign like snowy mountains or fighting in the streets while still being in Afghanistan. The graphics are really good but the frame rate like freezes a bit then goes back to normal. There also some glitches sometimes but minor ones. Your teammates are really smart and really help you out when you really need it especially in some hard missions. The enemy AI is not really smart like they hide behind cover but you could be right in front of them and they won’t shoot at you. I completed the campaign on hard and it took me like 7 hours to complete. Normal will be like 5-6 hours to complete and easy like 4-5 hours to complete. There is also another mode called hardcore which minimizes your health limits your ammo and increases the enemy’s damage. Also if you die during the mission you have to start from the beginning of the mission because there are no checkpoints in hardcore mode. In campaign you can also ask your teammates for some ammo if you are running low and they will give you a lot of ammo.

Multiplayer
The multiplayer is similar to battlefield bad company except there are no vehicles in multiplayer. Although there is one tank in one game mode called combat mission. The modes are team assault, combat mission, sector control, objective raid and hardcore mode. Multiplayer is class based, with three classes available - Rifleman, Special Ops, and Sniper. The player earns experience points during game play to level up and unlock additional weapons and weapon accessories. For example, at the start of the game the sniper class does not have a scope available, and the player must reach level 3 to unlock a combat scope.
If a player earns a certain amount of points before dying, called a score chain, he or she earns a choice of an offensive support action such as a mortar strike or missile attack or a defensive support action such as Intel or ammo. The player is not limited to one support action per life and can earn them continuously.
Game play features two opposing sides, the Coalition, usually referred by the in-game battle chatter to as "Python 1", against the Opposing Forces. There are 15 levels in each class.
The Coalition troops use American equipment such as the M16A4, while the Opposing Forces represent forces similar to the Taliban and use according equipment such as the AK-47. Each weapon is designed to have a counterpart on both teams, although that counterpart may or may not have the same stats. Initially, the weapons are team-specific. However, as the player progresses, they will unlock weapons that are available for both sides, as well as unlocking the ability to use enemy weapons. Once reaching level 8 in any one class the player is considered Tier 1 and assumes a different appearance and when killed the tier 1 player's killer receives 5 extra points for killing a tier 1 player.
Also there is VIP code in the game case which you can use to unlock additional content like guns and maps. It is only available for new Medal of Honor games and not pre-owned or rented. The engine it uses is the frostbite engine the one they used in battlefield bad company except there are not many objects that are destructible. Like you can’t blow up a whole house in Medal of Honor multiplayer but you can in battlefield bad company. The graphics are good and detailed and the texture is smooth. The menu where you choose your class sometimes freezes for a short while. There are 8 maps in multiplayer but the bad thing is that most of them look all the same. Most of them look like markets or sandy mountains but there is no variety of maps. I think the multiplayer is ok but gets boring quite easily.

Conclusion
Medal of Honor campaign is really epic and fun although there are some glitches and frame rate issues but if you ignore all of them things the campaign is really good. The multiplayer is ok but it will get boring quite easily. Its like dice rushed the multiplayer part of Medal of Honor and it doesn’t feel complete. Their is not much guns to unlock and you can’t even pick your secondary weapon. The multiplayer is good sometimes and bad other times. You die really easily so whoever sees each other first and shoots at them first will win most of the time. There are not enough game modes or maps. I think you should rent this game first then if you like it then you should buy it.
