"I loved it"

I still have a copy of Streets Of Rage and am still playing it to date. I think that it the best fighting game ever made. The range of moves is fantastic, and so original. I think that people forget about the classic games and are ashamed to say that they like the 2D games. People now like games that have stunning graphics and outstanding gameplay, but I don't think that that should be the case.
I would advise anyone who own a copy of this, to keep hold of it. It is a real classic.

I totally agree with you on this. Sadly when I dusted my old mega drive off a few months ago, I could only make it work in black and white, however much I fiddled with the tracking, so I didn't try to complete for the bad ending (being his henchman - I understand it only works on hardest difficulty), but the graphics were certainly good enough, the range of moves great, but simple enough to master quite easily. Plus throwing people off the elevator on the second to last level...

No game could ever match this thing!
(I want it re-released)
