Do you want to know what is driving me mondo nuts, huh??? Well i'll tell you, people putting the PS2 down. Do you want to know why this is driving me mondo nuts?? Because clearly it is not, unless you are blind ofcourse. I don't care how much you hate Sony (i'm not over fussed on them) but this does not make the PS2 somewhat poo.
Well to begin my topic i will start off with some pointers that makes the PS2 a good console.
Evidence number 1:
The games are clearly top notch. For example Armored Core 2, not a very popular game at all, infact i'm sure alot of you haven't heard of it but it is a great game. The problem with this game it wasn't surrounded by hype therefore making it unknown and unwanted. Another game is GTA3 (starts drooling and making funny noises) this game is a beauty, the graphics aren't what the PS2 is capable of but who cares, it has great gameplay and god its fun. The last game is Silent hill 2 (starts to drool again) this game is just unbelievable, it has everything; atmosphere, freaky enemies, great gameplay and a brilliant story. This game is a must have for all PS" owners.

Ok there are a few games which shouldn't really be in there because they aren't really that good but still there are enough top titles here for any owner to be proud to own
Now enough of this evidence lark, and i'm going to talk about peoples opinions and stuff like that. First thing is, alot of people compare the PS2 to the dreamcast, they say that so and so game is better than so and so, e.g skies of Arcadia has better visuals than anything on the PS2. All i have to say to this is give the PS2 time because it is just going to get better. Actually another point about this, the PS2 has only been out a year and you are already comparing it to something that came out a long tim before, you say Skies of Arcadia is better, but i say did Skies of Arcadia come out in the Dreamcasts first year?? the answer is no, to be precise very few good games were out in it's first year.
I have also heard people saying that the PS2 has no good games,well to everyone who thinks that look at the evidence segment.
And the worst scenario for putting the PS2 down is "the PS" is crud next to the Gamecube" or "the gamecube is going to stomp all over the PS2". How can you say this, the Gamecube isn't even out in the UK yet,you can't compare this, it is just stupid. If you have a Gamecube i would except this opinion, but you don't so how can it be at all accurate?? you tell me.
