Ok, I have just got back from celebrating my birthday with my friends (Sunday 6th is my b'day) and there was a House of the Dead 3 arcade machine. It is so brilliant. The graphics are absolutely amazing and the gameplay, phwoar.

Anyway, the best part of it must be the fact that you have shotguns instead of pistols. It is so brilliant you just firing this shotgun and then reloading it by the pull back action. However, it is knackering on the arms. Brilliant though!! ;-D

You can change the difficulty level on the Xbox HOTD3, you know. "Very Easy" is quite hard. "Normal" is very hard. "Very Hard" is near-on impossible.

It would be cool if they'd release a shotgun lightgun.

It would lose a bit of its apeal. I mean it is great on such a huge screen with the shot gun light guns. Especially with your mates.

One problem would be the repetition factor, on your X-box you would just play it over and over again untill bored. Also the arcade is set on Normal dificulty which extends the play alot more.

I thought that about HOTD2.

It was amazing in the arcades, so I bought it for the DC and was bored of it in a few days. It just wasn't the same, and it was actually shorter and easier than the arcade version.

Unless you have an infra red shotgun and a 45" tv, most likely yes.

Playing it on the Xbox would be fine. As long as they release a shot gun light gun like you have at the arcade. Or as long as they change the gun on the game to a pistol and bring out a normal light gun. I didn't really follow the story much but I am sure it is just as good as the prevous. They have really re-worked all the enemies and they do look truly amazing. It is brilliance. Best one of the HOTD series so far.

What do you think it would be like playing it at home on the X-Box?

Would it lose some of its appeal?
