"Modchip, Game Enhancer, or PSX Change CD?"

So, which one should you get? Say you own a Playstation 1, and you wonna play sum copied cd's. Do you get a:
Modchip - cheap, tricky setting up, some say it can muck up the console.

Game Enhancer - Simply plug in to the back of the console, but is said to eventually muck up the console and the games.

PSX Change CD - Easy to use (just load put the PSX CD in and then load the copied version), said to wear out the reading system of the playstion, resulting in crashes and audio losses.


So, whats the answer? Say what one you have and how it's done for you - so the players here have a clear view of which one to buy and which one's a con...

Just chip your playstation, doesn't matter if it breaks. You can pick up a second hand one for around £25 now anyways.

First, get a PS2 for gawd's sake. Or any other new console for that matter.
THEN consider importing stuff (NOT pirate copies, you mong) - get a flip-top lid and a boot-disc. Cheap, easy, no messing with the insides.

a. gaming could be at an all time low, if you want to get out in this great, spirit rising weather.
b. if you screw up you ps1 its a waste of time anyway.
c. it would be easier to get a ps2 and enjoy the new games.

do you know anything that dusnt screw it up?

Never had a game enhancer or CD or anything like that... so a modchip is best.

But, it does indeed screw up your console after a while.

Get a PS2.

Im just usin Playstation 1 for an example, so what do u think?

Erm....get a PS2 for starters, mucho bettero :)
