Welcome to the Freeola Web Development Forum, which exists for people to leave feedback on Freeola and for technical comments, discussion and helpful advice about setting up and running web sites.

Staff are likely to respond to most queries, but please don't expect immediate replies as they can't be on the forums all day.

We hope this forum will be the starting point for the Freeola Technical Knowledge Base so please feel free to post some exceptionally useful stuff to attempt to win a Gameaday prize. The best bits are likely to be moved into an orderly permanent group to avoid them slipping down the forum into obscurity.

I believe this thread could do with updating, and I hope someone will step forward to do it. If not I will try and get around to it at some point.

We need a welcome thread for each section, so we keep this as it is or split it into a "welcome" + "useful links" duo.

Time this post was updated :¬)

I was looking for the 'Sitemaps' post for some info and couldn't see it in the list!? I haven't used XML Sitemaps before but remembered there were some good tips here both by 'cjh' and 'Garin'.
After doing a quick search I found it:

Use a sitemap to tell Search Engines about your web pages.

I'm sure there are more and it's only a matter of time before Digi updates his thread ;¬)

While I'm here:

Photo Story 3 - an introduction
Hmmm...'s Tips and recommended Free applications

If you know of any more previous useful posts please add them to this thread to make them easier for people to find.

Check out some of our customer reviews below:

The coolest ISP ever!
In my opinion, the ISP is the best I have ever used. They guarantee 'first time connection - everytime', which they have never let me down on.
First Class!
I feel that your service on this occasion was absolutely first class - a model of excellence. After this, I hope to stay with Freeola for a long time!
