Now i don't need help on the game completed it on all difficulty levels apart from extreme on my psx but when i started playing it again on my PS2 i got to the end last night and at the very end of the credits were it says produced by Konami copyright blah blah blah...
then it froze there it didn't go on to the bit with Ocelot talking to the President or give me my score and let me save it so i could play again with the stealh suit it just froze.Now i tried it twice and the next time the same thing happened then i dug my old psx out of the cupboard pluged it in played the last fight with Liquid the credits rolled and everything was fine didn't freeze went on to the bit with ocelot and gave me my score and let me save so it can't be the disc. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to stop it freezing?

i tried it a couple of times but it didn't work, so i just finished it on my old psx and saved it. Konomai should really think of re-releasing it along with the special missions cd with improved gfx and no problems running on the PS2 and possibly slap it all on a DVD and include some extras like where Hideo Kojimas (not sure how u spell it) got the ideas for the characters story and setting, some MGS2 trailers maybe a demo of MGS2 etc... well maybe thats would be me just being over optimistic but hey i think that would be a great idea :)
I noticed that too, no stealth suit, bandana or nothing :-(
Fortunatly i know a way passed it (i am the power supreme) the trick is from the conversation with liquid snake onwards do NOT skip any cut scenes, codec talks or anything, just let it run by itself and you should get smooth rolling credits, the background nature video and allow the game to finish. It doesn't work all the time but stick at it and it might just work ;-)
